After a fairly negative experience at another well known dealership I was nervous about trading in my car. Dane was reassuring, professional and got me a brilliant deal on a new car. Constantly kept me in the loop in regards to finance companies and was an all round brilliant salesman. Jordan handled the sign over of my new car and again was absolutely brilliant. Outstanding service and customer care. Would recommend everyone to use this dealership, every member of staff was welcoming and courteous. 10/10

Bought my car 11 months ago on finance, the car had a lot of scratches and key marks at the time of buying. Due to me going up at night I couldn’t see any of this. At the day of agreement and signing paperwork we agreed that I could bring the car back a week later to get respected etc. But the after sale of the car has not been a great experience, Lack of communication is a huge factor After multiple phone calls to the office I was told the person who I was served by is busy. After 5/6 calls, I went through head office and was told by them that they would get the Dundee office to phone me. Again never did. I am now at the point of selling my car and having key marks on the car is a huge factor and would decrease the value massively. Another factor, I had actually asked the branch manager to get this in writing that he would fix the key marks on the car. He told me not to worry I wouldn’t need it. I didn’t want to write this and decrease star rating but felt it’s now at the point I have to get somewhere. Can’t fault their MOT and service team they are brilliant. Just want this fixed asap
Recently purchased a car here with help from Dane. The service we received was fantastic. Prompt and to the point, answering all my questions and I felt he really went above and beyond making sure I felt comfortable throughout the process. Wouldn’t hesitate to buy from here again and especially from Dane. Highly recommend.
Bunch of cowboys. After having car for 2 weeks decided to put into my local garage for a service as I was about to take a long journey and oil did not look good to me on inspection of dipstick and no documentary evidence came with the car to say it had recently been serviced. On inspection at garage during service they phoned me to say all brake pads and discs needed replacing urgently as they were corroded and worn, one rear wheel was binding because of this and pads were down to metal. They could not believe that this car passed a MOT just a few weeks ago and not even an advisory on that test. I instructed them to replace the discs and pads to make it roadworthy. I contacted this dealership only to receive a suggestion that myself and the garage were mistaken and the they had tested and serviced it before delivery to me. If this was the case why is it they never entered and stamped the service book to show this, indeed the last entry in the service book was 3 years previous in 2019. After emails back and forth with both the dealership and customer services I cannot get them to provide me with documented evidence of any service carried out or indeed the comprehensive checks they advertise that comes with every vehicle sold. They keep saying they will not pay for the service I had done at the garage. I have never asked them to do this. This is the 5th car car I have purchased from Arnold Clark but it is the last, they have destroyed any confidence I had in them as a car dealer.
A daytime running light had blown in my 15 plate Rio and I didn't have my tools with me to remove the headlight unit to find out which bulb I needed and Halfords couldn't really help. I popped into Kia in Dundee today and asked if they could tell me which bulb I needed. I didn't catch the name of the young man who helped me today but he arranged to have the bulb changed for me saving me from having to remove my whole headlight unit to do this myself. He was so helpful and I was so grateful for all his help. Absolute credit to the business! Will definitely return when it's time for me to upgrade the car. Brilliant customer service and I couldn't recommend this place enough!
Great service from first call to final purchase and collection. Many thanks to Louis D. for all the assistance and updates, dealt in the most professional way. Videos of our choice of car from Jacqueline and Aaron helped us very much in our decision to buy. My wife and I are more than pleased with our dealings with Arnold Clark.
Thee most painful experience I've ever been through having to go through this dealership for my van or any vehicle I've ever purchased. Waited a month for it due to finance being put in my own name and not my businesses which the salesman had the details for a month. And still didn't get it right. Which means I had credit checks done on me personally and not my business. Whilst going through remortgaging. Then to be told by the salesman he doesn't usually sell vans just cars? Why not pass me onto someone with knowledge? Instead of blagging your way to a sale and messing up completely. The finance fiasco was found out on the day I was to collect the van via click and collect from shiremoor. Which meant I was left without a vehicle for work I'm self employed for 3 days. My previous vans insurance had expired. Shiremoor staff bailed them out somewhat here by organising a hire van. But still Dundee had issues answering there phones for this. Basically if you try to ring any salesman or managers from this branch you get fobbed off with they're busy with a customer or it's their day off. I'll get them to contact you back.... THEY WONT. What an absolute shambles it's been. They've cost me some much money personally due there sheer ineptitude. And the salesman thought he had done me a favour by sorting it. Unbelievable. Customer services have been made aware. And I would recommend no one use this place. I won't name the manager or salesman. They will know who they are as they've apologised for their mistake. But if they're making this mistake after 11 years of experience it's worrying. So they say Also it's not good when you speak to an area manager about the salesman and they say. Not him again. So it's obviously common knowledge. If you do go ahead here. GOOD BLOODY LUCK. You're going to need it.
Very poor service. I purchased a relatively expensive, new and used vehicle from Arnold Clark in early December. The vehicle had a minor issue on the test drive and the employee reassured me that’s just what the car does as I’m not too knowledgeable on this make of vehicle. So not thinking much of it I purchase the car a day later, later to be told I cannot drive it away the same day as one of the doors is broken. They repair it pretty quickly and I receive my car after a week the car kept the same odd issue I had on the test drive so I phoned it up and took it too the service centre. I put my car in mid December and got no feedback what so ever to find out anything about my car I would have to battle and phone multiple times. They would often tell me we will call you back but never did. Then after a week of keeping my car they give me a call telling me they can’t fix it so it’ll have to go to a specialist. They give me a date and the car is sent on it’s way. I’m pretty relaxed at this time. Then I’m told a date I’ll recieve the car I wait and on the day they say the car hasn’t been looked at yet and tell me to wait. They keep telling me lots of fibs like parts for my car have to arrived or someone was on holiday so he couldn’t do something to it. Obviously I was furious. After 3.5 weeks of now driving my new car I got It back and asked exactly what they had done to my vehicle M. And nobody in the service centre could tell me until one of the workers said they had just reset everything. So I question they’re numerous dubs such as waiting for parts and whatnot and they basic send me on my way walking me to the door telling me the car is fixed and not telling me what happened I ask for a email explaining the work my car recieved and they literally said maybe. Will not be buying another car from here!
Went too sell a 19plate Corsa with low mileage would have been great stock for there branch. Car was in excellent condition but they knocked there online valuation down £700 for a couple of tiny stone chips. Touch up paint for them to prep the car would only cost pennies. Sold elsewhere for what the car was worth, as even if the whole bonnet required painting it wouldn't cost anything like £700. Cowboys, I won't be selling or purchasing any vehicles from AC really poor, just wanted the car for a steal
