We came for beach to Leigh on the Sean and preferred the peterboat for dinner. We went to there with 4 adult and 2 kids. We were very hungry and ordered lots of things . Everything was very delicious and tasty. Especially I loved kids menu because generally kids menu would not not good tasty. My sons loved and ate everything. Absolutely I can recommend there. Portion is enough big and everything has chips side.I loved staffs, especially our table waitress girl was very energetic and helpfully.
Pretty decent as it happens on a Sunday. Mad busy at 1530 but waitress still had time to check what my little girl dairy allergy can and can't have. Fair play to them, pretty much everything was available for her and the dairy free chocolate ice cream tasted banging and went down a treat when normally she's left with very little options. Good work on catering for veggies, vegans and those with allergies Vegetarian options: Enough to keep you interested Dietary restrictions: Mentioned this earlier, catered for my little girls dairy allergy and plenty of options for her from the roast dinner to pasta to burger. Pulled it out the bag with dairy free chocolate ice cream in what would normally be a sad time of dinner for her with poor options. Tasted banginging as well. Good work
Really nice pub in Leigh on sea. We sat outside as was a nice day and has fish and chips. The portion size was large and worth the price. The service was good from staff, did wait a while for the food and drinks to be delivered. You pay everytime you order something so no final bill at the end.
The restaurant sat in their glazed external enclosed terrace area. Warm even on a 12C day and gave lovely views of the estuary outside. Staff were friendly and sufficiently attentive throughout. The food was tasty and of a good quality. Sizes were good as well. Top end pricing though but is worth that little extra. Recommended stay for lunch and evening meals.
Lovely surroundings. Main course was excellent, best burger I've had. Dessert - sticky toffee pudding - was disappointing after such a good main. Drinks very expensive. But overall, a nice place for a special occasion.Food: 3/5
This restaurant is in a lovely location along the seawall at Leigh. My husband enjoyed his traditional fish and chips. Good size and very fresh. In my opinion, the vegetarian options need some refining. I found the Louisianna burger rather 'beige'. I think some more salad onion, cucumber, tomato inside the burger and maybe a side coleslaw or something would have added to the flavour. The specials dessert of berry and apple crumble however was enjoyable. I would recommend this.
Although it is a very busy place the service is brilliant and the food is lovely. We had the Sunday mixed roast, only complaint is they don't give enough gravy! We need a jug each lol! Lovely place to go, recommend it.
Food was really lovely and the staff were so friendly and helpful and found us a nice table with room for our dog to be comfortable even on a busy Friday night. Really lovely place. Definitely recommend.Food: 5/5
We are not from the area and were only here due to attending a family wedding at Burnham on crouch so decided to visit Southend-on-Sea. We visited the arcades etc and my Mrs wanted fish and chips but the sea front ones looked terrible so we searched Google and my Mrs found the Peterboat so we decided to go there. Wow the food the service and the attention to detail here is 2nd to none for a pub honestly absolutely fantastic. Thanks so much for the wonderful meal and experience at your establishment. My coffee during the meal did the trick for the 5 hour drive home. If we are ever down that way again we will be sure to make a visit for sure.
We had an awesome afternoon here with really attentive staff, good drinks and nice food. We booked a table for 2 hours, and had constant and attentive services from really friendly waiting staff, everything was ordered and brought to the table, food and drink. I had the chicken bacon and avocado salad, was lovely. The atmosphere was buzzing and the views of the sea were lovely.
