Fantastic LGBT+ venue here in Southend-on-Sea that is able to make tasty cocktails. They had a please serve me sign which is alright as when we went there during their weekly quiz night we did not have to wave or shout. Personally I really enjoyed their lights inside such as the ones in their ceiling. Would definitely come back!
Well... It's been a long time since I've jumped on the C2C in the Southend-On-Sea direction but I was quite bored at Home so I decided to head down to The Cliff Pub. Brutal honesty...I've haven't visited for 5+ Years! Was nice to be back & walk in to a packed out Gay Bar where Miss Penny the Drag Act for Saturday Night had her Audience very much enthralled . Was a real diverse mix of all Ages as well which was very surprising to see but also very lovely to bear witness too. Great to see The Cliff as a thriving hub for the local community. Not sure when I will be back but rest assured, I liked what I saw tonight ‍!
Went here for the pride after party - so friendly and fun and the staff were efficient, fair and smiling in serving the mob. I left my bag there and the manager went out of their way to help get it back to me. So grateful. Can’t wait to go back :
Was a fantastic pub
Still as good as I remembered 12 years ago. Very colourful and decorative. Wasn't packed so it was nice, love that they play a good mix of old and new music and the bonus of karaoke night twice. The staff we're very kind and friendly to chat with and they make the perfect cocktails going.
Oh wow what a change, last time I visited The Cliff approx 5 years ago lol, the wallpaper was pealing off the toilets smelt, but now a totally different place, although it was quite it was good to see Sue who works behind the bar who I've known for years, I also met a couple of guys who I haven't seen for sometime. Very friendly welcoming staff give it a go x
Really nice friendly place to hang out
Nice pub but it was empty on Friday evening, shame because staff was nice ,music too
Went there for a pub quiz. The place was heated very well and the rainbow lights, good music and chill stuff made the night better.
Was a treat for my mother and I to stay there, lovely staff,we stayed in the prittlewell suite, absolutely beautiful, the room was perfect, the bed was devine and the views were fantastic,
