Had a recent visit and was very impressed with the friendliness of the staff and the COVID safety setup. Food and drink was really good. As an added bonus the pub is dog friendly so we didn’t have to sit outside with our puppy.

An excellent and affordable choice for Leigh on Sea. Sunday lunch minus drink for just over a tenner. We liked the place and would definitely come back. The cider menu wasn't the best. Suggestion to staff - Aspell's or Stowford Press. We were impressed by the table service.

bit pricey with beer compared to half price at the Broadway only 5 mins walk away
Nice, well-priced meals and drinks, friendly staff, music at a good chat-friendly volume. Dog-friendly, too, which is great except, but disappointing that the dog families have to sit with the smokers.
Lovely friendly pub. Nice decor out side tables. Food is fab and not tight with portions. Fair array of drinks. We pop in every visit to Leigh.
