Really nice place, taking COVID appropriately seriously, and every single member of staff was an absolute pleasure. So so friendly, thank you all very much for a lovely experience. Really reasonable prices as well. Definitely coming back here

Great basement venue, good acoustics and lovely partially exposed brickwork

My favourite bar in Southend, it's priced right unlike most the others, the staff are friendly. No a place to meet new people but great for a game of pool and a pint.. Oh and to watch some live football!!

Had a birthday party in the basement room stairs. Room OK but unhelpful management. Constantly changed their minds and arsey. PA and spot lights didn't work. Better venues available.

Centrally located. Lots of TV screens and shows major sport events. Very reasonably priced bar with good range of draught beers

Is not that it's a bad pub, it's just the kinda place you find a lot of middle age blokes with beer bellies and bad attitudes congregating around on corner of the bar, and I barmaid who spends most of the shift talking to a lemonade drinking kid who only wears grey jogging bottoms at the other end of the bar.
