Came in for dinner on a Friday evening, around 6:30pm. Food was INCREDIBLY fast coming out, literally five minutes for starters and then 10 mins for mains. We tried the festive burger for our mains, which was surprisingly lovely, and it was a nice change having roast potatoes and gravy instead of fries. The waitress was very pleasant, even got me some extra bread to go with my pate starter as there wasn’t nearly enough to enjoy all of the pate itself. Only real negative would be the portion size of the burger - was shown as a huge stacked burger in the picture and when it came out it was significantly smaller.
Amazing food and service, All I can say is wow, we ate here as part of the premier Inn meal deal, most meals are included or the more expensive meals are included for a small supplement... I had a ultimate mixed grill which was £19.99 and the supplement was £2.99 A Drink and dessert or starter is included and an eat all you can breakfast at £25 per head This place has opened my eyes to beefeater... From the minute we were shown to our table we have had impeccable service from Mia The food was cooked to perfection Brad was the chef ... Well done and trust me it's a great size portion for anyone who's hungry. I would highly recommend this restaurant and hope my local beefeater can come even close to this high standard. Both me and my partner had a wonderful eating experience and are extremely pleased with quality of the food and service. A huge well done to all the staff here ----------------------------------------- As it was so good last night we decided to return for a 2nd night here.... Tonight we were served by Laura Again impeccable food and service I only wish we lived in the area so we could enjoy this all year round Well done to the whole team. This restaurant is spotlessly clean and seems to run like clockwork... The management and area managers must be very proud of all their colleagues.
Food selection was as expected, as was the food. Sadly both nights it was barely warm. First night I ordered a burger and it arrived in less than 45 seconds! But the burgers were only just warm. Second night a mixed grill, some of which was very nice, the pot of mac cheese was simply cold and the sweetcorn had been cooked for so long it was just mush. Buy the chef a thermometer and it would be a 4 stars.
Booked a table for 8.30pm having the opportunity to book for 9.30pm... arrived at 8.20pm and since arrived everyone were rushing for have all food ordered once the kitchen would have to close before 9pm?. . When was time to order the deserts, after our insistence we were able to get vanilla ice cream for our kids.... suggest that it's better to close and not serve on New Year's Eve than provide a sub standard service... sad once the food was actually good.....
We had an amazing evening meal. 3 of us had rump steak all differently cooked but we have never had steak like it...perfect cut, no waste at all...and flavour was perfect....the other member of the party had salmon and it was just as good. Tom the manager runs a 'tight ship' and he is brilliant..works so hard as does his team. Friendly, accommodating and so helpful.Thankyou
Came in for breakfast with the kids, fabulous service. The manager in particular was really friendly and chatty with the kids and couldn’t do enough for you. Food was great and unbelievable value given that both kids eat free with one 9.99 adult buffet. Will be back!
Spotlessly clean, food was served hot and delicious. Staff friendly, definitely will pop in for a bite to eat again. Good menu and reasonably priced. Excellent.Food: 5/5
We used to love going for a cheeky morning breakfast, but recently the eat as much as you can cooked breakfast has to be ordered rather than go up and choose and although stated on the site the breakfast starts at 6.30am it wasn't served until 7am. The waitresses spent most their time either swearing or texting. Not a good experience at all
Very welcoming and friendly staff. Food and service was excellent for both breakfast and evening meals. Varied and reasonably priced menu and a model of efficiency at all times. Highly recommended.Food: 5/5
We stayed at the Premier Inn for 5 days as having a new bathroom fitted at home, so we dinned here every night food not too bad a few dishes could have been hotter but value for money, the breakfast now that could be hotter but if you want simple meals then thus is the place.
