We planned a trip and intended to stay at this camp site however due to us being idiots we forgot our bedding and unfortunately had to find a local hotel. This is no reflection on the camp site. One arrival they assisted with finding alternative accommodation and I found communication to be great from word go and my emails always responded to promptly and always with good advise. They rang ahead of our trip to advise of refurbishments that we’re going ahead. From what I could see the campsite was clean, tidy and well looked after. We fully intent to visit again and hopefully stay next time :)

We visited this site during the Easter school holidays.  On arrival we were greated by a very friendly young lady who checked us in and gave us all the necessary information.  Our pitch was plenty large enough for our 4 birth caravan, awning and car. Toilets and showers were great, always very clean and the showers always delivered plenty of hot water.  First night was rather noisy, due to a group of inconsiderate caravanner's who decided to have a mini party until after midnight. It would have been nice if the owners has confronted them about this, especially as the site rules say quiet after 10:30pm! luckily the noisy people left the site the following day.  The location of the site is brilliant. Just a five minute walk from Bala lake and 15 minute walk from Bala town.  In all, a great site that we'd definitely return to.

We have just got back from a long weekend. After recently having stayed at a couple of very disappointing camp sites, we really struggled with choosing our next stay. We really shouldn't of been worried, as this site was just what camping should be. Reasonable prices, great clean facilities, beautifully maintained grounds and wonderful welcoming staff! We took our kayak with us and to launch was about 150m walk to the beautiful Bala lake. There were 4 showers (ladies) which were free and clean with plenty of hooks to hang your clothes. 4 private sink cubicles. 3 wash up sinks which were undercover. All with hot water and free. The shop was well stocked with a lot of 'happy shopper' products with the prices already on them, so you know you're not being ripped off as with a lot of other camp shops. Another plus was you can order meat via a form in reception from a local butcher who delivers the same evening (as long as you order before 3). All in all, a wonderful site with the lake on your doorstep and Bala town 15 min walk away! Fab!

Loverly quite site owner very friendly and helpful loverly location lot of walks next door to lake and a short walk to village .
