Great place. Turned up late at night with an over heating truck and they let us stay. Amazing views to wake up too. Great toilets and showers too. Would recommend

It's difficult to put into words how great the site is and what it means to us. As group of families we've been camping together for 16 years and for the last 6 years at Pant Yr Onnen. It is one of the highlights of our year. We call each other BOB now ( Bring on Bala!). The previous reviews say it all - stunning location, sailing/messing about in boats, fires and BBQs on the lakeside with sun setting over the lake, great facilities, the city of Bala nearby and an outstandinly friendly welcome. Life can be busy and stessful - this is a special place to spend a few special days with special people.

Lovely owners, right on the lake, great facilities (50p showers for 8 or so mins) nice soft soil for pegs! Bala train line goes right by (Llangower stop 5 mins walk away). Only issue is we couldn't find buckets of walking routes straight from the camp site so had to travel into Bala for them
