Booked a taxi, with 20 minutes spare to get a train home. The taxi arrived over 40 minutes later, making us miss our train home. A taxi turned up for someone else at the time we booked it, but the little man in the car wouldn’t let us share the taxi even though it was going to the same destination. Saying he’s the taxi driver and he makes the decisions not the customer. The guy on the phone was just as helpful. Useless company, luckily we’re not from the area so won’t have to use them again
super nice driver drove my family back from our new years party. he waited outside for my dad and chatted the whole ride. super nice guy. didn’t catch his name but tipped him a fiver. if you see this happy new year mate!
Operator wants to learn how to speak to customers, so rude, customer service is job one, keep your customers happy and they'll keep coming back, told me everywhere is grid locked yet when I booked with another firm they got a taxi straight to me and there was no traffic on the roads whatsoever
Would like to massively thank the driver of YS11 JHU - LICENCE NUMBER 7590. For his actions today at Wigan infirmary whilst we waited for a car reversing out of a space!!! After nearly 45 minutes trying to find a space, we finally spotted someone returning to their car Thanks to the Pem Taxi drivers complete lack of patience and understanding, he made us lose the space and then we had to drive around continually until we totally missed this afternoons visiting. What a SUPERSTAR this guy really is !!!!!!!!! Only rated 1 star because there was nothing less !
Thought we would use a local wigan service to help out our local business, however the taxi fare on new year's day morning was a rip off, disgusting price of £50 for an £11 fare on normal rate. Quadruple pay never mind double pay for a bank holiday. Shocking.
Rude service as always. Called the office on a last resort and was met with unhelpful, blunt and outright rude staff. Reason they were a last resort: I was once told to “shut that kid up in the background” when calling them. Not always a doable thing, is it. Completely avoid. Much nicer humans on the planet to give your money to.
Ordered a taxi when picking my daughter up from nursery and I was 2 minutes late whilst the driver was early. Asked if he could wait whilst I got my daughter from nursery and he was so rude towards me because he'd been waiting 10 minutes when he was early. Came out of nursery and the driver had left whilst I paid online. Rang the office to make a complaint and they didn't seem bothered because I was 2 minutes late whilst the driver was early, asked for my money to be transfered back and all I got told was that I'd have to wait until the driver releases it! Will definitely not be using these again after my experience of making me late for my son and leaving me outside nursery with my daughter absolutely shocking customer service.
Used this company for over 30 years and I will never use them again, since its been taken over its a waste of time booked taxi and 6.30 on app for 6.45 not arrived at 7 rang and was told I've not even sent it yet and he sent one when one was available. nice customer service. took payment waited till 7.30 still didn't turn up cancelled waiting on refund !!!! i never thought the day would come but I'll be using blue star from now on and advise everyone to do the same
Rude phone operators, abrupt beyond belief and no tact whatsoever. A shame cause the drivers are friendly but the Tossers on the phone don’t even know the meaning of the word. Will never use again.
Best taxi’s in wigan !I had ordered with another taxi company, which never showed up. PemTaxis showed up within ten minutes to make sure that I would arrive at my appointment on time. The driver was even kind enough to stop me off at a petrol station to get some cash as I couldn’t use my card. They are always on time and are very kind and reliable. If you want to get somewhere on time use PemTaxis!!!Service: Limousines
