We are a small independent cafe located in the heart of Whaley Bridge. We specialise in light lunches, home made cakes and great coffee.

Story

Pear Tree Cafe is located in Whaley Bridge beside the canal.
We serve breakfasts daily, a variety of light lunches and 'soup' and 'special' of the day.
We cater for dietary requirements ensuring soups are vegetarian and offering gluten free alternatives.
We serve Lavazza coffee, speciality teas and a variety of soft drinks.
Home made cakes and tray bakes are available daily alongside crumpets and teacakes.

Delicious home cooked food, always a vegetarian option available. This small independent cafe works really hard to bring fresh ideas for breakfast and lunch. It also has a great selection of home made cakes. There's a outside courtyard if you are bringing your four legged friend. Newly updated, local arts and crafts on display here so you can shop whilst you browse. Locals and visitors all welcomed here so climb the stairs and enjoy!. Closed Sunday and Monday

Lovely, cute environment. Perfect place to visit on a Saturday afternoon. Cakes were amazing and impressed with the prices too. Will return. :)

Stopped of for a quick lunch snack. While the Pear Tree does a full lunchtime menu I just needed soup and a coffee. My coffee arrived promptly, it was hot and a good sized cup. My soup of pea,spinach with a beetroot swirl, brown bread and butter was hot and tasty. Nothing was left in the bowl. Peartree prices are reasonable and the restaurant on the 1st floor has lovely old furniture in keeping with the old building. Will definitely go back.

Lovely place. Sat in the courtyard with our dogs. Friendly and welcoming staff. Had pot of tea and toasted teacake, partner had coffee and gluten free homemade bakewell cake, which he highly recommends. Will definitely be returning
