Last 3 times I have been I was served soggy and greasy chips with an obviously microwaved pie. This was at peak time when you expect the chips to be fresh and the pies to be properly heated. It's a shame because this used to be a great chippy. They obviously don't give a damn about standards any longer as this was served to me under the gaze of the owner. As a chef, I'd be ashamed to send out food of that poor quality. Decent mushy peas though. From now on I'll be going to the Fryery at the other end of the village.
