Our family of four dropped by after hiking Mam Tor along the Peak District. Parking was easy to the side of the pub no payment required but I can imagine it being busier in the evenings.nnMsot tables were already reserved but they managed to accommodate us indoors. Outside, plenty of patrons having a drink and chatting.nnWe ordered a Sunday roast beef, chicken and mushroom pie, and a sausage with potatoes bangers and mashnnThe quantity of food for the Sunday roast was extremely worth it. 5 large servings of beef alongside a hefty helping of mash potatoes. I was very full after finishing the meal. There was some slow roasted carrots underneath it all too.nnStaff greeted us with a smile and were very friendly. Would recommend coming here for a meal.
Good afternoon with 3 friends. Had roast beef hot sandwich, very nice but sourdough bread too much. Beef tender and tasty with gravy and horseradish. Triple cooked chips had seen better days, very overcooked. Friendly staff but not attentive. Lovely pub with outside Marquee type seating. Would try again. But not the chips.
Dog friendly pub, great beers and largers and really nice food too. Service was great. Will be back again very soon.
Impressive Robinson's house. Large and spacious with outdoor area.nCar park. Dogs welcome.
Phenomenal!!! So pleased we passed by this pub on the way home, the service was amazing and the food was delicious, home cooked and generous! Great veggie and vegan choices and sooo many gluten free options, most of the dishes looked like they could be done GF. Veggie burger and roast beef sandwiches both 10/10. We felt so comfortable and looked after, thank you Mike for being so passionate about the menu and chatting to us, as well as for my birthday dessert! We will definitely be back
