We booked Bailey's for my Dad's 70th birthday meal. The booking process was easy and friendly. The staff went out of their way to make our party feel welcome and well looked after. The food was incredible, particularly the Game Pie and gravy. Thanks to Dave and the team for the amazing experience.Food: 5/5

Great service from the waiters,  fillet steak cooked to perfection, as was the kangaroo steak. Both meals served on hot plates which makes all the difference. If I had one complaint I would say the desert was a little on the large side.  We did tackle it with 2 spoons, but 4 would of been better. Great first visit and definitely will be back.

Mahi Mahi in the peak district??? Oh my goodness the most fantastic fish dish I've had outside of Antigua. Friendly knowledgeable staff notably Steven the owner Amazing coconut shrimp. Vegetarian burger and fish dishes, wish I was a local!

Had the most superb Sunday lunch with a cocktail and a couple of Rose wines to complete a lovely afternoon with my sister in law.... Service was excellent and Becky was brilliant with recommendations and her professional nature.... Will definitely be back soon.

First time visit and they were busy always a good sign. We managed to get a table but were advised there would be a wait. We weren't kept too long and the meals smoked haddock risotto and salmon with Asian spices were really tasty as was the ice cream dessert.  Staff were friendly and attentive, providing a bottle of chilled water on arrival. Would definitely go again!

My husband and I visited this restaurant for the first time last night and I can tell you that it won’t be the last. I had the classic burger with triple cooked chips and everything was so very tasty and cooked to perfection. My husband had the sirloin steak with blue cheese sauce and chips and he said it was the best steak he’d had in a long while and the best meal he’s had in Buxton, bearing in mind that he’s had some very nice meals in Buxton. Service was excellent and staff were friendly and the portion sizes were really good and both meals were served piping hot. Can’t wait to return   Dietary restrictions: My husband is a coeliac and there were lots of gluten free dishes to choose from for every course.

The food choice is interesting in the best possible way.  There were things on the menu that we never thought we would be able to try, and the staff are so friendly and the service is out of this world.  The food arrived promptly, was made of fresh and good quality ingredients.  We don't live in Buxton but would return to eat here. Thank you for making me and my son feel so welcome :

Delicious food. Warm and friendly service. I had venison pie served with fresh and perfectly cooked vegetables.Our party had issues with our hotel and the management at Baileys went over and above to enable us to find alternative places to stay for our weekend in lovely Buxton. Thanks so much guys. Will be back for sure.

We had the salmon very nice and venison steak absolutely excellent as mains. The cooking was  little different to usual, but we both liked it. The portions were generous to southern experience. Service excellent.
