Tesco Superstore

My local store. The staff are fantastic. I am disabled and usually on a scooter or wheelchair. Very often I get offers of help from staff before I've even asked. Lovely friendly place with lovely helpful staff. . Good for a natter too. Top rating.

Well established store. Good range of produce for size of store . You can get virtually any houshold items good range of frozen food fresh toiletries kichen utensils mobile phones music travel magazines newspapers . Good store with friendly helpful staff.Plenty of parking space . Wheelchair friendly.

Usually lots of parking available even when busy, selection of goods is ok with some more exotic items usually available. Main downside is the store layout, frozen aisle is very near the start of the shop meaning you have to do a number of laps backtracking if you want your frozen food to stay frozen rather than letting it defrost in the bottom of the trolley. Tesco collect desk is useful and cash machine outside although staff smoke on the benches near the machine which is rather off putting.

Staff always helpful but I'm disappointed to find less choice on the shelves in the fresh foods sections. Just one example yesterday at 6.30pm not even a single lettuce to be purchased only bagged mixes or Chinese leaves. Reduced shelving now in fresh fruit and vegetables and you don't have these full on Thursday tea time, traditionally a popular shopping time? It seems you want your customers to live on ready meals, sweets, biscuits, chocolate and unhealthy cereal since these areas appear to be unaffected, indeed expanding! Choice in fresh meat and poultry is in decline! Frozen blueberries rarely available. Bakery loaves shrinking in weight! Come on tesco we don't want to lose what was a very good local facility!
