Beautiful place and very nice and helping host. Very safe for girls, I stayed in 6 ,7 bed dorm and all other girls are very helping and kind. I enjoyed my visit and plan to stay there regularly. Neat and clean bedding, dinning area is well equipped with coffee and tea facility.
Great stay at Pax Lodge this weekend. The rooms were too warm, but the staff were really friendly, the shared bathrooms were always available and clean. The shared lounge was lovely and the dining room was a great place. They didn't do breakfast so we popped out to m&s locally to pick up some breakfast items and kept them in the shared fridge - worked really well for us. Belsize Park tube is 8 minutes walk and the northern line gets you straight into the centre of London. Free parking on site was great and plenty of space when I arrived Friday evening. Rooms: Basic but clean and comfortable. Walkability: Five minutes to some restaurants and shops, eight minutes to the tube. Food & drinks: Lots of restaurants within walking distance, also lots of options on Uber Eats, and M&S food hall just five minutes walk too.
My favourite place to stay in London. Staff is really friendly! Clean and cosy rooms, great area in London close to Camden Town and Belsize Park station, nice breakfast. I love coming back here!
Located in a nice area but bit far from the city though. The bunk beds need to be set up higher. If you get the buttom bunk you just cant sit. You need to bend you back which is not comfortable at all.Rooms: 3/5
Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and a good room. Except the shower pressure was bit low.
Liked that we had our own room with two twin beds but the room smelled rather bad. We had to leave the windows open all night...I'm assuming it's the carpet. It smelled like wet old carpet if that makes sense.
Cannot beat the value for this price in London! Hot showers and a towel. Fridge, microwave and toaster along with basic condiments. Camden is a nice place to be! Need key card to access your room and even floor. Common space with books, board games and a guitar!Rooms: 4/5
Super friendly staff ,and room big and clean ,kitchen good to very convenient, location near underground and bus stop walk just few minutes, and this area quiet at night ! In outside of hostel have seat you can sit here for relax ,perfect!
Cheap, friendly, awesome, well maintained, pretty location, free parking, exceeded expectations. Will definitely return.Rooms: 5/5
Really lovely place to stay with friendly and helpful staff, beautiful grounds, and spotlessly clean facilities. Dining room is always open with a fridge to store your food and a microwave to heat it, as well as cutlery and plates. There is a tea and coffee station always available too. Breakfast is provided in the dining room every morning from 7:30 to 9:00 should you wish to purchase it for less than £4. There is also a TV room, games room, and computer with printing services available. Pax Lodge is brimming with history about the building and the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts. There are QR codes on the walls for a self-guided tour, maps where visitors can mark their home towns, and places where girls can trade badges or pen-pal letters from around the world. The entire building has a strong educational focus with suggested activities and information about sister lodges in Africa, Switzerland, Asia and Mexico. There are also flag raising and badge pinning ceremonies on offer. A very family-friendly, safe, and quiet place in a beautiful location of London. Shops are a few blocks away as is Hampstead Heath. You will feel welcomed and at-home here. Staff are a diverse group of amazing people from around the world, and they are always willing to help and answer questions. This is a hostel environment so you are expected to do some things yourself like cleaning up if you have your own meal in the dining room. You also need to keep your room card on your person at all times when you move about the building. A code is needed to enter the building from outside at night. Staff are available out of hours but it means waking someone up so you should take extra care to remember your card! Quiet hours are 10pm to 8am. Rooms are clean and include a sink. Toilets and showers are communal - but they are kept so clean you won't mind! Hair styling tools are available and you can store luggage downstairs during your stay. There is also a little shop that sells Girl Guides memorabilia and travel items. The front and back gardens are gorgeous and great places to picnic when the weather is nice. The other wing of the building houses the Olave Centre, a venue for conferences and other types of business meetings. You will fall in love with this place and meet some lovely people too. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
