Love the fact that they helping the community, especially drop in coffee mornings for men's you don't see this much also I heard they have food bank for local people.
Beware of the deposit scam this community centre employs. Last year, I rented this for five hours on a Saturday. It was closed till the exact moment I booked it for. I arrived approximately 30 minutes sooner and received a shock when it was closed. Nobody answered the phone, and I was never given the "caretaker's number". An hour before my booking was about to end, I asked the staff caretaker if I could extend it and pay for the extra hour. I was told that he could make a note, and the hourly cost would be deducted from the deposit. So I stayed one hour. After a few weeks of not receiving the outstanding deposit, I called and was informed by the staff that the manager said who never responds to emails that I had breached the contract by staying beyond my booking slot. Long story short, he basically stated that the caretaker acted on his own and should not have told me that I could stay. This has happened to many other locals as well. They use this strategy on anyone who attempts to extend the day. Be wary of the crooks that run this community centre.
Great little space for community engagement events.
Nice venue for parties, events decor
Nice venue for different cultural weddings. Two decent size hall on ground floor. One upstairs which is also a nice size hall. Venue also has a nice parking for guests to use.
Always great! Went there with food for the Food Bank
Thank you guys for all what you have done and will do for the young people in Gospel Oak. There is rarely to find a word which could describe how important QCC is for the young people of Gospel Oak.
