Best place in London to take care of yourself practicing happiness! Their events and training are super precious !
The Museum of Happiness space in Camden and the work they do is brilliant. You have to remember that this is not a Museum in traditional sense, it is a social enterprise doing much good. It is a collection of people sharing happiness, the science behind it, interactive, creative sessions to help us be happier and learn tools/skills to stay happier or bounce back quicker. The space is vibrant, creative and colourful. That as well as the energy and passion of the people at the museum help create a joyful, peaceful, relaxing, happy atmosphere - much needed in this day and age. The various activities are wonderful. Well worth visiting - you will return for another visit.
This place has been created with so much love that one feels happier the moment one sets foot inside. Happiness is all about experience and relationships. As such this museum is not a display of things; it offers classes, workshops and events that help people learn the art of living happily whoever they are and wherever they are in their life journeys. This is a place where friendship naturally blossoms. Unlike the streets of London, everywhere you turn in the Museum of Happiness, you will be met with a smile.
The Museum of Happiness team is super authentic, friendly and compassionate. It's an incredible place to cultivate friendship and learn skills to improve well-being. London is now a happier and joyful city! May the kindness and inspiration always be with you guys!
There should be a museum of happiness in every city. Brings together communities and provides a safe place to be yourself. The new venue in Camden is epic! Started as a small but awesome space at the back of cafe, and now it’s an amazing large space where the outside has been brought inside for summer all year around. The grass indoors is awesome and picnics are so much fun in the winter! I’ve taken so many friends along and everyone says the same things “it feels like home” and “I can’t help but feel happy here”. You can’t really express in words what this venue feels like, so I would recommend taking a peek for yourself. It’s free!
As soon as you walk in the door you can feel the love and happiness hit you. The staff are warm and open and always on hand to help you connect to your own inner happiness. If you are looking for a quiet somber museum where you can observe the exhibits from a distance, then you're in the wrong place. This Museum is all about experience, helping you to connect to happiness in ways that may have been forgotten since childhood.
I enjoyed every second of my time at the Museum of Happiness. I don't usually go to such places and events, but people were welcoming, friendly and just great. I was part of a short meditation event, some happy networking that helped tune down anxiety and so much more.
Well, I've been following the Museum of Happiness for 2 years now. I was there for the first pop up event and I'm still around when I can or I feel like going there. That said, I like it because it's an imperfect environment. At times I got disappointed by the friendly staff but then I found them VERY open to chat about my views/expectations. My background is within the corporate environment so sometimes I struggled when I saw them waisting energy and time because there was no clear structure. But you know what? After a while I found out they got it themselves. And this is the beauty of it, they're a start up charity. They're doing their best which sometimes is not enough for me. But most of the time it is, definitely. Like with friends and family, right? Last but not least, this place and its people made me meet some amazing friends aka partners in crime. I was there on Saturday evening and something really magical happened when sharing our experiences with some fellow volunteers. This is the most precious gift I keep receiving from the MoH. And it's priceless. I wish everyone can experience the magic of touching and being touched by other people's lives like that.
The core team and group of volunteers at the Museum work tirelessly to help make London and world a happier place. Yes it's not a 'normal' museum but this only goes to show how normal museums are boring. The Museum of Happiness is my happy place.
The Museum of Happiness is a great place to go to escape the bustling life in London. The atmosphere and the stuff are very friendly and the wellbeing courses offered and supported by MoH are excellent. What a valuable project to cultivate, to share and spread the idea of bringing happiness to people's lives. Thank you so much for the work you do!
