Excellent pet shop and good value, also sells kids toys. Now called widgets toys and pets, now sells lots of toys and some pet things.

Visited this week for the first time in years. Wide range of stock (much of which was toys for children), and friendly staff but disappointed by the care provided for their live stock. The fish were inactive and overcrowded in tiny tanks, and goldfish starter kits were being sold without filters. While the animals and birds looked on and seemed active, the cages were dirty and smelly and there were lots of flies. Not somewhere I would go again.

Went in the shop today and can honestly say will not be going in there again as the lady who serves in there is very rude and ignorant with a lack of good customer skills along with no signs regarding the parrot weather it is approachable or not! And also doesn't know the sex of the animals with sexing?? Surely they should know as are selling these animals very appalling and will not be recommending the shop to anyone

Excellent free advice and very accommodating staff. I fell in love with a particular bird but as I needed to prepare couldn't take it home immediately. The staff very kindly offered to care for the bird for a few weeks. I also rang the shop for advice afterwards and always found them very helpful. When my bird needed professional clipping they offered a home visit at very reasonable cost. Very satisfied and well recommended
