We held a surprise 60th party here on Sat night for my mum, and I felt obligated to leave a review to say what a great experience I had making the arrangements with the team here. From start to finish everything was fantastic: all my queries were answered quickly, the DJ hired was lovely, the staff were so friendly and helpful, the room and facilities were fab and the buffet was delicious with great veggie options. We had technical difficulties with a video message on the night and Caitlin went out of her way to get it running for us. Everyone had a fantastic time, I am so grateful to Michael and his team for making the night so special for us all, we had a ball! Vegetarian options: Great veggie choices in the buffet menu, much appreciated for my veggie mum!
An intimate music venue upstairs, good seating with tables and a small bar area. . A stage is provided for the musicians so their audience can have a good view of the session. Pleasant staff.Service: 5/5
5 stars all the way for this pub/restaurant on the Ormeau rd Belfast. This bar goes over three floors with pool tables . Numerous TV's when you're in for the sports etc. Food is of a good standard with a menu for all. Vegetarian options if desired. Prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended.Food: 5/5
I cannot speak highly enough of the staff and customers in the Pavilion who rushed to help my elderly father when he fell here recently. They were brilliant. Thank you so much for all you did. 5 stars isn't enough!
Poor service. When the bar is empty and 4 different members of staff completely blank me it's not good. Beer is fine but it near broke the guys heart when he had to go change a barrel. I suggest management introduce some customer service skills training and perhaps visit a bar with high quality staff that know what they are doing and how to look after customer needs. 3 trips to the cellar to change a barrel Back here again. One barman and 8 of us waiting and he walks off to serve food. Never again.
Good chilled atmosphere on the third floor for the pool. £1 game. Pool cues are on hand. Some gigs on the second floor and bottom is a typical pub environment.Food: 4/5

Great bar, with a wide selection of beers and decent food. Definitely good if you are wanting to watch the football.
I wish I had a photo of what their Veggie Heap burger looked like last time I was there and what it looked like today. It was a massive falafel burger heaped with loads of extras. Today it looked like a £1.69 burger from the saver menu. When I.asked what happened to the burger the lovely waiter went away and asked, he came back with the head chef has changed. Well sorry Laverys but your menu hasn't changed. I didnt get what was described on the menu or what I have had 30 times before. Putting prices up and more than halving the size of the portion! What's the point in squeezing profit margins if your going to loose customers? Especially on the Ormeau road where it is all locals and regulars? I've been eating here since Laverys took over the Big House 23 years ago and I will not be back for food. #SackTheHeadChef
Great little pub, only stayed for a couple of pints, but would definitely returnService: 5/5
