Really great service. Staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. We ate here on more than one occasion as we were so happy with the place. Would definitely recommend! I would recommend booking a table in advance as well as it can get busy!
Incredible food. Sirloin steaks big, juicy. Plentiful. Chicken wing hot sauce starter. Prawn cocktail. Kids meals. Breakfast just too amazing and too much choice to list. All staff sensational. Luke at breakfast. The manager for evening dinner. Everyone so warm and lovely. 3 night stay. Cannot fault anything. Bar staff. Everyone on duty 23rd to 26th October should be proud. Especially 25th when they were 3 staff down and still ran the restaurant like legends. Thanks so so much. Kid-friendliness: They all had banter with 7 years old grandson. Lovely Parking: Outside on doorstep
We had a brilliant 2day stay at the premier Inn we had breakfast and both night meals in the cookhouse. On both nights we had amazing food and service. I have worked in the catering trade for the last 19 years and I can honestly say this is one of my favourite places to eat. The food was outstanding. Luke was very knowledgeable on the food and allergens and spent time answering our questions. Can't wait to go again thankyou for a great weekend.
Staff were polite, smiling and welcoming which was a really nice start and we were clearly told about the process regarding any special dietary requirements without having to ask or being left to read the small print on the menu. The restaurant is really well laid out, very clean, with some nice views if you can get a table looking out over the coast. The food was great & service was prompt & friendly. Very enjoyable. Kid-friendliness: We had our five & eight year old with us & they were well catered for and enjoyed their dining experience as much as we did!
Sophie and the team created a brilliant lunchtime atmosphere at lunchtime. The food was a cut above most restaurant's attached to Premier Inns. The lads who served the tables on an evening we're superb and the guy originally from Chelmsley Wood went the extra mile to make you feel welcome. I ate here 4 days on the trot and my favourite meals were the Haddock and the Beef pie. Hope to go back sometime. Thank you
Food here is really nice, but comes out warm, not hot as a meal should. Nick is loving! The service is really really slow, so if you'd like a quick bite to eat, this isn't the place to go. Parking: Parking is spot on
I don't like the area you have to sit in to eat. I prefer the bar area. Manager yesterday would not allow us to sit in the bar even though tables were laid for eating and not booked. The place was almost empty. I don't understand the logic. The eating area is OK but I feel rushed in there. In the bar no one bothers you.
Ordered Ribs and they were cold. Was asked if I wanted them reheating or a fresh one and I chose a fresh meal. Was brought out the same ribs just reheated. Was told by the manager and chef they sent them out to me undercooked. Had to ask a chef to come out and talk 4 times and the chef that finally came out was extremely rude and wouldn’t answer simple questions.
We went for our family pre Christmas meal and was utterly disappointed with the food. The roast potatoes tasted like they were re heated some were inedible. My son had sausage chips and peas, there were more peas on the plate than the chips and sausages put together and the chips were over cooked so not eaten. I had Christmas pudding, it was a very small portion and the sauce was minimal and appeared to of been re headed as the sauce was welded to the plate. My husband had the festive turkey burger… it was very dry, it came with the heated up roast potatoes…. We had to call at McDonald’s on the way home. Wont be going back!
I booked lunch for my family and myself for a 70th birthday lunch. We had to wait 25 minutes for our drinks, I had to go and ask where they were. We had the Sunday roast and when it came, it was only just warm. We had waited so long that we just ate it, no one came to ask if everything was OK. They only had 2 waitresses who were just you young girls, not experienced. I had to go and ask for our desserts and then again for the bill. Have been going here since it opened and used to enjoy it, but I'm afraid it will be a long time before I go back. I was so disappointed Parking: Parking ok
