Disappointed....my friends 50 birthday and a group of 5 girls had planned an afternoon tea at your shop. We were also planning on taking cakes home. A rude member of staff told us we couldn't sit on the soft seats as there were too many of us and another member of staff told us told us not to sit on the area we had just cleaned. Very unfriendly . We walked out and took our custom further down the road where we happily spent 50 quid. Think your staff need more training

Arrived there today with an 83 year old relative, sat at a filthy table for 30 mins while everyone else around us was served. Spoke to the waitress...rude and NO apology. Definitely never going back!

I honestly really liked the atmosphere and the staff is really friendly. It gives off a posh feeling and I enjoyed being there even if I only had take away. I didn't enjoy the cakes that much. It was either too sweet or not sweet enough to make me melt. I am a big fan of their macaroons and I will definitely come back to try more of their visually appetising cakes in the hope that their taste matches their visuals.

If I could give it no stars I would. Shambolic service. Not only incompetent and lazy but also rude. Items overcooked. Not particularly clean. This is the third time I've been here and each time the service has been worse than the last culminating in the terrible service I received today. This occasion was my birthday and I was with my disabled mother who is paralysed from the neck down. The fact that these circumstances didn't encourage the staff to conduct themselves with basic good manners leaves me without words.

The staff were polite and efficient but didn't talk much. We enjoyed the halloumi salad and the tuna melt but the cakes weren't that great, they seem very appetising to the eye but once on your plate, the taste is bland and not worth it. We tried the frangipane tart and the pecan and walnut tart. Maybe the other cakes are better. I don't think we will go back.
