A New Zealand style cafe focussing on preparing food made from good quality produce, homemade cakes using free range/organic eggs and real butter with espresso made the kiwi way. We make most our menu items from scratch - hence the wait on busy days.

I’m a bit torn on this one. The food was very good, some of the best scrambled eggs I’ve had and I’m pretty difficult when it comes to that :) but there wasn’t much choice on the menu, especially for someone with a sweet tooth like myself. We had to change our choice two/three times because they had run out of salmon, cheese, syrup, goat’s cheese, etc. and it was only 11am! The prices are reasonable - 19 pounds for eggs benedict on toast and a chai latte, and scrambled eggs on toast with a latte. The menu consists mainly of eggs cooked in different ways and toasties. There is also some porridge and toast with jam and honey. The cafe itself is quite small, there are 9 small wooden tables approximately, no specific deco so it doesn’t have a very warm feel to it but it’s clean. It’s not made for large groups though but is family friendly. I think we will go back because it was good but it won’t be on our top 5 list.

Tried here for breakfast. A great selection for this unassuming place. Will definately be returning.

Love the laid back and simple approach ... clean and bright space .... good food, freshly prepared, a delightful display of yummy goodies and nice coffee .... made to feel welcome.

A solid 3.5, I think. I'm not a huge fan of their coffee, but they are very friendly, and it's a nice atmosphere. Brunch is pretty good, with several vegetarian options.
