A fabulous tucked away cafe. And so so busy. The locals obviously love it. The breads were amazing. The sour dough so yummy. Would have been happier if the coffee was better. But the people and the atmosphere was perfect. Wish them all the luck.
Absolutely wonderful bakery and cafe. Breakfast wellingtons and quiches are delicious. Nicely made loaves and pastries. And the service, even when extremely busy with a line out the door, was always with a smile. Don't expect a table though when it's a grey rainy day outside.
A lovely oasis of calm. Good coffee and plenty of very tasty treats favs include ginger breads and coffee or chocolate cakes. I am only so very sad the opening hours have been reduced and hope the business will thrive sufficiently to open for longer.
The cafe/bakery has some good reviews so I hope mine will be taken by Jacob as constructive criticism. I think your staff should be trained in how to deal with handling money at the same time as handling food. I appreciate that tongs are used for cakes etc. but bread is handled by the counter assistant with her bare hands and those hands also take cash for payment. I suggest that any bread is taken from the shelf with the use of the tissue paper which is used to wrap it anyway.
Fantastic sausage rolls, possibly the best in Cambridge. A guaranteed visit whenever I'm working in the Newnham area. Parking can be an issue but well worth the hassle. Always a friendly service with a smile.
Bakery with skill. : Cosy, friendly and one of only two places in Cambridge where you can buy proper sourdough bread. You can eat this bread whole alone. You can sit in and enjoy Focaccia with drink. I am happy to find it.
The atmosphere is cosy and friendly The coffee is lovely and there is always something nice to eat Oh and they sell home baked fresh bread too!
Wonderful independent bakery with delicious offerings and a cafe serving great coffee too!
Super place, great light lunch food and coffee, lovely light but cozy environment and free WiFi.
Nice little residential area cafe. A victim of its own success as it can run out of food before the end of lunch!
