Michaelhouse Centre

About

The Michaelhouse Centre hires out rooms for meetings, parties, dinners, concerts, after-wedding dances, seminars, exhibitions and much more.

Story

Michaelhouse is an outstandingly beautiful space within the heart of Cambridge. With its light and airy contemporary feel, this converted church still retains its unique atmosphere of peace and reflection, making it a real oasis of calm.

The Michaelhouse Cafe is an excellent place for an early morning coffee, breakfast, sandwich lunch, warm meal, afternoon tea, scones and cakes. Open 8am to 5pm Monday to Saturday.

Wander into the Chancel area to see some delightful history in the oldest college chapel in Cambridge. Or hire this space for a concert or performance with your audience enjoying seating on 15th century misericords.

Book one of our meeting rooms for your next seminar, training event, workshop or interview.

One of my favourite places for breakfast. It had a former life as a church, so the inside is magnificent. Looking closely, there is fading evidence of a painted ceiling. The coffee is excellent and the food is consistently gorgeous. It's an oasis in the heart of Cambridge.

A must see place if you are visiting Cambridge. A relaxing atmosphere, great food and friendly staff; the architecture is also amazing. Kingsgate community church also have a service on Friday night at 19.30...All are welcome!

Lovely place much loved by locals wanting decent food in a relaxing environment. Suits quiet folk who appreciate architecture.

A good use of a church and part of the building is still a church. The food served is good. I just wish they sold postcards.

Nothing beats having a delicious, filling, and healthy home cooked food in an ancient church. Relaxed and friendly venue that attracts a refined and mature bunch.
