Truly top notch Middle Eastern food! The best my partner who’s from the ME has had in all of the U.K. Huge portions, we had the lamb kofta with rice and the meat was to die for. Rice and dips were fantastic too. But the real stand out were the chips - they were so crunchy but fluffy on the inside. Honestly some of the best I’ve had. Small local business in Glasgow - definitely go and support!
That was our 2nd visit. Took my kids with me this time and they loved it. Food is great fresh and portions are quiet big. One of the best hummus. Loved everything. We came home with good amount of leftovers but I never seen any the next day
We came to this restaurant and it had great service as well as good quality food. We recommend you to come to this place an try their Lamb Kabsa, it is amazing. The restaurant may seem old and a bit small but the food is all it matters.
It has the delicious food especially the wraps and kabsa. The salad are fresh and tasty. Falafel and humous are delicious too. for the dessert the kunafa is delicious with a cup of tea. Also they have fresh juices. I recommend this restaurant
The best restaurant in Scotland. The food is so delicious and exceeded our expectations. The best shawarma in the UK with 4 different styles/recipes. Lamb Kabsa or Koozi is the best dish on the menu where we enjoyed the original taste. The staff are so nice and we had the chef visiting our table 3 times discussing our opinions about their recipes and he was offering more food for the kids for free and after we finished our dinner the chef provided tea for free. A perfect experience from parking on street to paying an average bill which reflect high value for money. Thanks chef Mr Musa
Very tasty food, quite a few options in the menu. You might need to wait a little bit because it gets busy but definitely worth it. You can enjoy the food there as a solo, with family or friends.
Great food and service. The Halloumi, Hummus, Falafel and Shish Chicken were awesome. The dessert Pistachio Baklava and the mint tea regular that why the 4 points.
Absolutely loved the food and you MUST try their Lamb Kabsa, the meat was super tender and juicy. The place was full, had to wait 10mins to get a table.
Food was excellent - authentic , quality ingredients , amazing taste and cooked perfectly - 5 star food. Excellent value for money with large portions. Hummus was exceptional as was the lamb - the fresh orange is worth a mention too. Decent location close to George Square just off the hustle n bustle but still city centre. Service is basic cafe style but adequate. Friendly staff was a big plus. We were in early Fri evening and the place was busy with mostly, if not all ethnic Middle Eastern people eating there. Couple of families with kids , few couples and some groups - always a good sign in any regional eating establishment for me. Decor again basic but clean and adequate. Toilet - basic but clean. I will be back and would recommend for the food alone - overall experience was very enjoyable for me and wife. 4 stars is only so people reading don't expect restaurant facilities not because anything was wrong. Excellent authentic cafe style middle Eastern food. Vegetarian options: I am not vegetarian but we had the cold veggie sharing starter that was excellent - could have been a meal in itself. There was also veggie mains that I can only guess would be the same quality as our starter or meat mains. Kid-friendliness: 2 families with 3 young kids each eating when we were there. Treated well and allowed to relax and enjoy their meal. Big benefit of the informal cafe style I think.
It bad experience, the shawarma was black and the number of pieces was 4. I was afraid of poisoning and threw the food in the trash. The potatoes were very poor and full of oil.
