We came in for lunch around 12:30 and ordered and the food came right away! Food was delicious and good value with their lunch menu. Service was lovely and attentive - waiter came and checked on us during the meal, he didn’t introduce himself so I didn’t get a name. Lovely blonde kid with glasses. Food was excellent, and the atmosphere quickly picked up when a few more tables came in.

Booked the private room for a smallish wedding 40+ guests. Nuncio, Anna, and every single one of the staff made it so easy for us. They could not do enough. Real old style Italian hospitality. The food as usual was excellent. Always 5 stars. I would recommend this Mediterraneo in a heartbeat for everything from a simple romantic meal to a small conference in the private area. Thank you everyone for making a special occasion very special.
My experience at Mediterraneo Italian Restaurant & Champagne Bar was poor due to the food. It was lacking in flavor and authenticity, making it one of my worst Italian dining experiences. I wouldn't recommend this place for good Italian food.Food: 1/5
I am pretty sure the staff misheard me when I said the food was delicious, because it was! They went from friendly to gloomy after I said this The food was so creamy, filling and tasty! Please eat here, it is lovely! And be sure to compliment the food to the staff - the meal deserves praise.
Pleasantly surprised, first visit here and food was delicious with very attentive service. We weren't thrown out after 90 mins like so many other places these days. Lovely cocktails too.Food: 5/5
First visit. Not the most attractive exterior but once inside, you will immediately forget that.Inside is a welcoming, comfortable, old trattoria style feel with nice intimate booths perfect for friendly conversation while dining. No blaring loud music here. In the bar area there is acoustic live music at weekends. The staff are very efficient, friendly and attentive. The real jewel is the food. Typically italian, as it should be. Excellent presentation and quality and tastes as good as it looks. We enjoyed various starters don't miss Potato and Chorizo hotpot which was very tasty. We then had Pizza Salami, chicken escalope Milanese and pasta arrabiata with garlic bread. All delicious Portions are generous, so no dessert. Just coffee to finish off an excellent dining experience. Special two course menu for £12.95 is available on weekdays 12- 4pm.
Excellent staff very high quality food at terrific prices and the restaurant is lovely
Nice restaurant, however the behaviour of some of the staff is unprofessional and greedy! Very disappointing - bill includes service yet the young lady serving us thought appropriate to expect a £12 tip from 2 pensioners!! And when I said to bring back the change she found this to be very funny - Unfortunately wouldn’t be backFood: 3/5
Popped in by chance and would be back. 100% recommend, service was quick and all of the staff were wonderful. Food was excellent and very reasonably priced. Surprised by size of side dish as shown in photo.Food: 5/5
