It's a nice hotel, if somewhat noisy. The rooms are spacious and very high tech with a control panel/tablet to control heating, lights etc. The car park is small, and you pay extra for that once you're there at a parking meter on site - which you have to pay for within 30 mins of parking your car. The service was OK, but it wasn't exactly service with a smile. It was a nice hotel, convenient to where I was working but very expensive.
Stayed here a few days ago and hotel was great. Staff were friendly and efficient and location is ideal for the tube. Room was clean and tidy, My daughter managed to lose her laptop in the room and was very kindly returned to her by special delivery by the floor manager there - Michael Jessop who I spoke with on the phone and was very helpful. Recommend
Had a pleasant 2 night stay with my boyfriend recently. Room was great, however the bathroom is quite dark and could do with some extra lighting. Staff are nice & is a plus that they have car parking on site .
As soon as we came in, Mardy was very friendly and approachable. She gave us great assistance with storing our luggage before our check in time so that we are able to explore the city. She also helped us with showing us where to go as we are new to this side of the city. The staff also gave us an easy time with checking in. Thank you very much. Looking forward to staying here again next time.
Great place to stay. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms and in an ideal location opposite tube. Shops over the road. Parking on site. We parked our car on arrival and used the tube daily. Ate in the restaurant the first night and had breakfast. Good selection available. Rooms: Quiet, well equipped bedroom. Comfortable and very clean. Walkability: Access to the tube is via the underpass by the side of the hotel. It's well lit and not far at all.
The reception have helped me and my family alot and especially Nina the Receptionist who gave us a feeling like home. I've been here for 1 night and I'm planning on being here for a couple more because of the warm feeling this hotel is giving me. I recommend y'all to come visit this hotel, an absolute great experience in general.Rooms: 5/5
We have a great stay in this hotel room Is nice and cozy food is great specially the staff very friendly. ! Highly recommended. Hotel Is accessible of public transport as well. special thanks to Mardy who is the one who assisted us in our entire stay..
This hotel is supposed to be a 4 stars hotel. Well, it is far from being so. The location is good as the underground station is only 2-3 minutes walk. The breakfast is NOT recommended at all and is expensive, 15 pounds. The boiled eggs are as cold as ice cubes! But the worst thing about this hotel is the lighting. Even if you turn on all lights, the room is still so dark that you even can not use the mirror as you hardly can see your own face! Stay away!
Overall a nice hotel. Windows cannot however be opened- purpose to keep sounds outside and control air in the room. Ventilation system is there, only it was a bit difficult to activate the AC/or flow of air when the system thought the temperature was right. Near to 2 different underground stations on separate lines a plus. Give 3 and not 4 stars as they did not informed in advance or at arrival that they only clean the room every 3rd day. When we protested they did however give an extra cleaning and a free breakfast. So let say 3.5 stars would be right.
I stayed in the hotel for 5 days with my parents and I would say it was an interesting stay. Pros: modernized hotel, cool rooms, clean beds, close to the underground. Cons: not a so good breakfast for a 4 star hotel, temperatures in rooms couldn’t be changed, it smelled like weed in the corridors. We had a very unpleasant experience with one of their staff who forgot our room service order and hanged up on us. Even though one of the managers later tried to help us and apologized which we were grateful for during our stay every time we asked for clean towels or toilet paper they never provide these when we asked for them, instead we had to always ask for them twice and make sure we had them. I would say it was an okay stay, but they should improve their customer service, because sometimes I felt like I was even bothering them when asking for simple things. I don’t know if it’s a culture thing but except for one of the women working at the desk in the morning, all of the staff always seemed bothered.
