I can’t knock the food one bit. Their food is good, I give that to them. But their customer service is so bad and rubbish, it is beyond my belief. I went there I my family. I ordered three meals, and within them meals I ordered 2 masala chips. Every thing came apart from one chips within 10-15 mins... which can sometimes happen if places get busy. I asked them how long would the chips take. They told me 2 minutes. I waited 5 mins and asked again as my sandwich was getting cold. I prefer to eat my chips first. They said 2 mins. I asked again after another 5 mins and they kept saying 2 mins. In the end I got so frustrated I asked for a refund of my whole meal. They said they can’t do that right now as my chips are ready to be served... and refused to refund me. I still waited another 5 mins for the chips and it finally came. My sandwich was now ice cold, and all the workers are purposely not making eye contact with me as the place was busy and they did not want to deal with my complaints any further. In total, I waited 30 mins for my chips to come. If I had known it would have taken that long then I could have eaten my sandwich while it was hot. But they kept promising 2 minutes, but took 15 times longer than their promised time. I would never eat here again.
Goood price on food Good flavours, has a very nice taste, not bland at all. Will defo come back again.
A quick review - food was tasty and portions were huge. It's a nice option in Westfield too. Masala Fries were yummy. Cons - the food was cold and they took a very long time to prepare. Seemed a little overwhelming by how busy it got which is fair enough as it's new. I got the lamb mince sandwich and in principle this idea is fab, the lamb tasted nice. The bread however was cold and soggy. They had squeezed it into a burger box so the filling was everywhere really ruining the presentation of the food. I feel the place has potential but lots of work needs doing to I prove it.
I had food at Pakka Indian for the first time yesterday. The service was so fast! I got my chicken tikka club sandwich in like 3 minutes max and the friendly staff made my experience even better! At the till the young lady called Bushra was very helpful and gave suggestions on what I should get as it was my first time. Overall pleased and will defo recommend to friends and family.
Stopped by there today. Had a veggie biryani and and a paneer sandwich. Top quality food great service and friendly staff. Very highly recommended if you like Indian Street food. Defo be going back there again!
Took more than 20 mins to serve a portion of aloo chat, which is some aloo tikki topped with channachur. The massala fries is way too sour which is some regular fries with a whole pot of chaat massala. Avoid this, go to Indigo instead. Its a no no.
Great authentic indian streetfood. Lots of options and a good range for vegetarians. Reasonably priced and they have Limca and Thums Up on the drinks menu. Service is fast and food is spicy and flavorsome.
Fantastic Food at a Great Price, really enjoyed the keema club sandwich with masala fries and a Thumbs Up drink : definitely recommend anyone into indian street food with a western twist to try it out if your in the westfields stratford food court :
Slow service and after waiting for an in-decisive customer to order the lady took the order of someone who came after me and they were taking ages too! Frustrating and I wouldn't go back, it's your box standard Indian food and they messed up my order, no apologies!
i ordered a lamb roll, barely had bites of lamb the rest was veggies. I don't think i'll order a roll again as the sauce made it soggy and it fell apart.
