We sat down and the waiter kept sneezing all over the place and on us while taking the order. He even left 2x to blow his nose, never washed his hand, kept touching his face. When we mentioned that he should not be serving and also he should wear a mask, he had a bad attitude, directly saying that we can leave. So we did. Also people just left complaining about how awful the curry was and they were waiting for long. So it was not encouraging either. Glad we left.
We had take away for 2 people, Saturday evening. Ordered via website - was easy. Discount for orders over £30 which was nice. Food was good and came quickly, although I had to go down from fourth floor to receive food. Cash only which is fine I suppose. Curries were good - had lentil dall, brinjal, chicken tikka jalfrezi and vegetable dansak with garlic naan and paratha. However paratha was more like a thick and doughy chapatti - still nice but not a paratha at all, so not what I ordered. Naan was not a garlic naan, just a plain one, and was a bit too sweet. No vegan options that I could see. Overall we liked and would definitely order again, but some minor improvements could be made for sure. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options which is great, but no vegan options as far as I could see.
Ordered chicken Tikka masala and chapati. Chicken was super hard and the masala was super duper sweet with overpowering taste of coconut. Probably the first time I had to willingly throw away food even while being hungry. My best guess is that it's not run by an Indian rather by someone from Indian subcontinent. Irrespective food was abysmal. Butter chapati was good and homely but without a decent curry/sabzi it was of no use.
They are the tastiest tandoori I had, excellent service, if you don't try them your missing out. The restaurant is a lovely clean place to dine in also. Regards, Saif.

Onion baji and Reshmi kebab was fresh, tasty and very good portion. The Lamb Tikka chilli garlic was spot on! Very flavourful At last I managed to find a restaurant that serves flavourful and quality food. I traveled from Redbridge all the way to this place yesterday evening to get my takeaway it was well worth it as all the Indian restaurant in Redbridge area have gone downhill with it's quality of food. It was well worth the travel, will be coming more often. Thank you!
Any absolute local gem, what can I say? Chilli Garlic is a spot which offers fantastic service & food for all. The staff are great, menu is amazing with a variety of dishes for everyone’s liking. The new Dum Biryani added to their menu is awesome, full of flavour and tastes great along with a very generous portion. Super quick delivery, I would highly recommend to try out Chilli Garlic, you will not be disappointed. Keep up the great work guys!
Ordered from here and was happy with the food. My husband loves this type of dish. He will definitely order again! Keep the good quality food
Arrived on a Sunday evening. Restaurant was empty, apart from a couple collecting a takeaway. We were sat down abruptly by someone who appeared to be the owner/manager, zero welcoming, given some very grubby menus and just left alone, and left alone, and left alone, so we left the restaurant. Very unfriendly, unwelcoming and I think the food hygiene people could do with taking a look around…really unkempt and dirty dining area. Would not recommend in the slightest.
Super friendly and amazing food. I loved the jalfrezi. We showed up late and they were kind enough to accommodate us even though we finished 30 minutes after closing. I can't wait to eat our leftovers tomorrow!Food: 5/5
