Excellent briyani and curries – there is a different featured curry each day – with a good level of spiciness. It was late, but the proprietor was friendly and accommodating, and made some excellent recommendations for dinner take-out.
Everything was delicious. Bought samosas, fried fish, chicken wings, lamb biryani and sauces. So cheap as well. Lovely people who work there
Very friendly staffs and speedy working efficiency. Definitely the most tasty samosas ever. The best one is their lamb samosa and vegan one. Rich flavors with perfect spice combination. Tried their spinach, lamb curry, chicken curry, veggie and the lentil dishes. All are good but may be too greasy and salty sometimes so not good for people with digestive problems. Wrap is simply good as samosas. Would like to have their samosas every weeks and other heavier dishes once a month.
Probably the best kebab roll in London. Excellent curries rotated weekly. Meatball curry is amazing and usually available on a Thursday. Price has gone up 50p to £2.50 for a kebab roll in the 6/7 years we've been going. There's also a breakfast deal before 11am. I very rarely give 5 stars this place deserves it. So much competition and a lot of places to compare this to, curries are probably amongst the best I've had anywhere in London.
I've been going here for many years and the food is amazing. They have a range of different dishes and you can ask which is spicy hot and which one's are mild. I am a huge fan if the lamb biryani and always go for a mixture of the samosas. The staff is very polite and helpful and one can not fault this place. A small shop, yet the BEST tasting food I've had by far. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed. Now I'm drooling thinking about the food and need to go get myself a yummy lamb and potatoe curry.
Brilliant Chana Dahl, and very good chicken tikka. Cheap and good, which is a very rare combination now!
Excellent food. A little spicy but always Good value.
Only found this place a few weeks ago and it’s a hidden gem tucked away in the market . Food is home cooked and high quality . The chicken biryani at £5 for a large portion is fantastic value and it’s authentically made . 3 samoosas for £1.20 ,you can’t go wrong and taste like how my mum Used to make them . Well worth a visit but go early or most items sold out and there is a reason for that .
I've been regularly going to Kashmiri Kebabish for a few years now. Their daals, chanas, karahi, saags are all on point, and their parathas are delicious. Genuinely great value, always go for the large portions so you can have some freezer curries.
Use to really like this place until one day I was there ordered a kebab roll, the man used his hands opened it up used tongs to put in the salad, kept touching the kebab roll too many times then went to get a bag for it then rubbed his nose!, I literally felt sick & walked off. Sorry I can’t be eating food when handled with bare hands and witness face rubbing. That’s just to much for me. Why can’t you use gloves!? It’s people’s food!. Not coming back unfortunately.
