Nice little park, not a lot to see but its connected to jesmond dean park so if your into more waking then you can continue down. But the park itself is nice to chill and rest for a while with lot of sitting available. The park is good for kids as well since it has a playground in it
A great park for the whole family. We love bringing our little girl to see the ducks and swans as well as use the playground. The large field is great for a run-around too. The only downside is no toilet except for the new one in the cafe but I don't think everyone should have to buy a coffee just to go to the toilet.
Enjoyed our bike trip to Paddy Freeman’s Park. Lovely boating lake, cafe , some picnic tables all over the park. Plenty of space for kids to play about.
A lovely park with playground for children, parking spacepaid for until 6pm, water front with ducks and pigeons, got sitting area for family to chill out, a table for tennis, and a field nearby quite lovely for dog walking. Moreso, it's opposite the freeman's hospital!
Nice park with free Tennis court and a larger Field for the dog to run around. There's is a cafe as well but it's not always open. The toilets by the lake are closed however. Restrooms: No toilets near the cafe and lake.
This park is very run down. The paths are potholed and terraced steps at the edge of the boat pond are heavily overgrown with weeds. In addition the car park is now pay and display. I could understand if monies raised were being spent on park...but clearly not.
One of our favourite places to go. Loads to see and explore with little ones, perfect for dog walking. Great location, public transport runs really close by and there's plenty of parking if driving. A perfect sanctuary just minutes from the city centre
Its were i or my lass comes with us got 2 shitshue oddie and Nemo. Nemo is the dad he's 12 year old and oddie is 2 year old thinks he's a rottweiler got no fear with other dogs. Love the walk and the good things too look at nice place go and check it out thanks enjoy yourself.
Great Parklife.... feed the pigeons, I sometimes feed the sparrows too It gives me a sense of enormous well being.
It is a lovely park. Very close to Jesmond dene. Park cost 0.5p per hour.
