We moved out from Newcastle and nice to be back during Easter! We used to go to the Paddy Freeman park almost every 2 weeks. A very nice park with a little pond. Our kids love to see the ducks there, as well as spend some time in the playground.
This is a really nice park. Well set out and lots to do. Stopped off while visiting the freeman hospital as its just along the road, and we needed somewhere to figure out whst was going on.nnThere is a coffee shop and toilets, but these had closed early the day we visited.nnThere were a lot of people there, the car park is tiny, but does have disabled bays
Great little park. Plenty parking spaces, some a little walk away but still fine. Parking in an actual car park does cost but its pretty cheap. £1 an hour. The park is tidy enough, nice little pond with plenty ducks does need a bit of a clean.nnThe little tea hut is great and dog friendly and the tea I had was absolutely delish. Kids had some ice cream, all in all was about a tenner but worth it. Plenty seating around too. Space for picnics.nToilets are located in the tea hut.nnDefinitely worth a visit.
Love this park, lots to do and a cafe with toilets too.
It's an amazing park equipped with a huge pond, kids play area, benches to relax, a food outlet, interactive stationary games, ground etc. It's an all in one place to have a fun day with your partner or with your family. The ducks and birds in the calm water makes your mind calm and helps you regain your strength. Nature is here
