Steady place to catch some sun on what limited summer days we have. As always if you don't want to be surrounded by kids then don't go there or walk through swiftly!. For the family types in Gosforth it might be a life saver.
A small park but a nice little place to walk around and the childrens park itself is impressive with lots of choice for both young and older children.
Nice park, 15 mns or less walk from South gosforth metro station, shops and cafés in the shopping centre on looking the park and children's area included.
Lovely little gem of a park hidden just behind the high street. Has a great little children's play area and a visiting coffee van and ice cream van. A number of seats around the whole park to relax and watch the world go by.
Clean well kept & a great place to take the kids for a run around and picnic ..toilets are inside the shopping centre and you can get a great cup of coffee at Etto
Like the comments about the council maintaining this park well - but I rarely walk through the Park without seeing volunteers in it picking up litter, tidying, clearing space, improving the environment for many others to enjoy. It's an excellent example of generous volunteering - thank you
Pleasant landscaped green space with children's playgrounds trees and shrubs and an ice cream van. Lovely.
Lovely central area with a well kept garden space, perfect for letting the dog play around. On some afternoons, an ice cream van usually sits here as well - nice atmosphere, well used by the community.
My daughter thoroughly loved playing on the swings, slide, roundabout and bouncy equipment here. The children's play area is surrounded by lots of trees and grass areas. The RSPB are also holding drop in sessions to learn about wildlife which I will be taking our little ones to explore.
love it, good playground for small kids and generally well looked after. NB There's no toilets but you can use the one in Gosforth Shopping Centre if it's open.
