It's a tiny Library, it has at most 30 seated places. The chairs are pretty bad, those standard plastic ones you would find in the outdoors of a coffee shop. It's an okay place to study, although it tends to get quite noisy. The WiFi there is great, Avg upload/download speed around 200mbps/sec
If you want use own laptop it's quite good library, toilets public, books , movies , anime magazines.
Honestly not much more than a computer bay. Don’t bother if you plan on using a laptop or doing serious study, as they will dedicate 90% of tables to Chess Club and tell you to leave if someone wants to use a computer while you’re there. Just pay for a Pret Subscription if you want somewhere with actual amenities.
There are really noisy kids shouting and bouncing all around. No one stops it. Come on this is not nursing home or kindergarten??? It's very sharp and loud that i can't focus on reading even a bit??? What's the administration of it???
Not the best since the lower floor of PCs and books have been stopped so there is now limited computer's to use and some have terrible keyboards with keys that are tough as stale bread
Thanks to the very helpful staff member. I was able to find a book that helped my research.
Some of the best, caring, and most helpful staff. Good amount of books and resources available too. A branch worth being a member of and supporting.
Noisiest library I’ve ever been. Went there to work on my computer - the study area was small and uncomfortable. The clientele was disturbing - a lady next to me proceeded to talk on speaker phone for 30 mins and the staff did nothing. Two homeless guys were talking to themselves, and unfortunately had very bad body odours which was rather distracting. When I arrived there was a stretching class in the middle of the library and they were being very loud. The architecture has a lot of potentiel but the decor is faded and tired. I asked one question to the lady at the front and she looked very annoyed for no reason. The selection of books is great however.
A weird guy was sitting in the library, speaking very loudly, constantly and that wasn't the first time apparently, as he attends the library very often, from what I've been told . At some point, a girl went to complain about it to a member of the staff, but nothing changed. In the end, 3 persons including myself had to leave the library because the voice of that guy was really too disturbing. I don't understand how come they don't prohibit that guy from entering into the library, but rather let him do his mess and make people leave bc of him!!!!!
It was such a good place to go when I had to photocopy some documents. The staff there are super helpful. You pay a small fee for copies or printing, better than a printing shop or Internet cafe even! It’s all digital now, whether taking out or returning books, it’s so easy to do. I was impressed.
