Amazing staff, good facilities, a good selection of books. The books for sale is always organised so well, I always purchase something.
Good library for the local residents. Has a fair amount of books but you might not find exactly what u want.
A small library.Welcoming staff and well equipped.
Great Staff. Good Selection of Books, CD's and DVD's. The Child's Library is with in the Main Library so it can get a bit Loud and Noisy but there is a Quiet Room if you need to escape. Self Service Library and Bookable Computers.
Libraries are the heart of a community and one of the most important amenities in my opinion. Maida Vale Library is great, the staff are very nice, and being a member of any City of Westminster library means you're a member of all others too. The library itself has a quiet room where you can sit and read, work on your laptop, or just enjoy the quiet. You only have to be a member if you want to take books out of the library, you can read in the library without registering, although registration is quick and easy so why not do it. There's also a wide range of films and music to take out, magazines and daily papers are available, as well as ebooks from online, in short content is available in any medium. In case you can't tell, I love libraries, I think everyone should make use of them!
Good selection of books and you can order and reserve the books online. If they dont have a particular title, they can bring it from another branch with/ without a small fee
Fabulous collection of books. Spacious, airy and polite staff. Only issue is the furniture. Really uncomfortable chairs, squeaky and I feel a posh place like Maida Vale could do a tad better.
The librarian on was lovely and very helpful. The selection of books for the size was great. Glad this is my local library.
Lovely choice of children's books
Seems to be an old church - I was going to ask what the history was but decided that i could leave it for a mystery. The back room is for working and quiet - what I like about libraries is the toilet access and electric plug access for hours of working - and this library has both
