Had muscles which were fine, but accompanied bread was cold and had a strange texture (was listed as being freshly baked). Partners veggie burger was inedible, and accompanied sun blushed tomatoes were char grilled almost. Staff never came over to check on our meal even though my partner hadn't touched her meal for the vast majority of the time it took me to eat mine(and the place wasn't busy). Only got a half hearted sorry when we eventually complained. They did take the item off the bill, but only one of us had an edible meal.

Stayed here a number of times with work always the first place I try and book. Good rooms really comfortable and very clean. Food very good indeed the sea food always a winner. Staff are suburb can't do enough for you. I'll be back again.

We booked the Oyster Inn after arriving at another hotel in Oban, which was not suitable. The receptionist was very helpful and polite. There are lovely views out over Oban Bay, and the Oyster Inn is just a cross the road from the shore line. The atmosphere in the Glue Pot restaurant was good; the bar staff were friendly, and the food was very pleasant. We ordered a vegetarian burger and steak pie which were delicious. We stayed in room Lorn which was a basic twin, but was clean and tidy. The walk in shower was very well received. Being a disabled traveller, it's surprising how many hotels still only have inaccessible bath tubs. Overall we were happy with our stay at the Oyster Inn, and would definitely recommend it for a short stay.

Nice place to stay, overnight stop for work in the area. Rooms comfy enough and have what you need. Restaurant (within the bar - main restaurant closed during the week as off season) serves good food too.
