Dreadful customer after care, they're nice until they have your money. I was given 1 key and told the spare key would be dropped at my home once the log book was in my name. They said they had a security firm who kept the key, strangest thing I've ever heard but fair enough, now that I tried to get the 2nd key they don't know what I'm on about. They don't take phone number but say they'll phone back, always because Nigel isn't in.  The car I bought was £699 and 12yr old, so I know its not exactly a 2016 brand spanker with 3 yr warranty. However, the car would not start after 5 weeks, bare in mind its been used half a dozen times in them 5 weeks.  I phoned this company, I was told they'll phone back, they don't seem to know what that means. I had to phone them again later on in the day.  I was told bring it down and it'll cost x amount for a new battery, I said I don't know what's wrong with it, I don't think its the battery, and I asked is the car not covered under consumer rights act IE after 30 days but within 6 months for a fault.  This is where the guy on phone became agitated and quite abusive, "you don't have any rights, its a 14 yr old car, you people seem to think if you buy a used car it comes with new car warranties" was what I was informed.  I only asked if it was covered, it is indeed covered by law as stated in the consumer rights act, which I mentioned on the phone, the guy on phone said "well you must know law better than me, go get a lawyer".  I asked if I could get a refund, he stated "you're getting nothing, its a 14 yr old car and they suffer from wear tear".  I could push with consumer rights etc, but I think a review is easier, it cost me £100+ to get the car fixed, needless to say I won't be using these again, nor recommending them

Absolute joke, from the minute I got my car I have had nothing but problems with it. The latest in relation to my engine which is costing me over £1000 to fix. Company probably aware of these issues when the vehicle was sold. When i took it there for a service and to enquire about the problem there wasn't even 2 miles added to the clock and was told they didn't know what was wrong with it. Clearly they hasn't bothered to take it for a drive or to find out. Would strongly recommend people go elsewhere if they expect a working car and decent service

Can’t recommend you guys enough. From speaking on the phone with Angela right through to purchasing my new car the standard of customer service has been amazing.  I’d spoken to and visited most used car garages in the area before coming across Oxman Cars and the difference in professionalism and service was unbelievable!! You guys really are the best   I’d just like to say a huge thank you to you all for everything..... My car is a beaut, the purchasing was a breeze and the after care service is second to none

Went along to see a car that has been advertised since the beginning of the year. The repairs are still to be done & price has somehow increased from listed. Making an assumption about someone because of how they are dressed  as I was fresh from the gym and look young for my age is a poor approach to sales, for future reference I'm qualified in numerous trades including light and heavy goods mechanics. Seriously doubt I'll be back, recommend you work on your sales approach.

My husband traveled 5.5 hours from Scotland to buy a car from this dodger. When he arrived he wasn't even there!! Received an EMAIL to say he was away for an emergency and then didn't take our calls. Think we had a lucky escape going by the other reviews which I wish I read before my husband made the journey. Avoid this place like the plague! Con artist!!

My partner got a car from here. They were great until they got the money for the car. I had just come out of hospital after 2 major operations and was due to go back for a check up the day after car was delivered. We didn't have the log book, and my partner told Nigel Oxman, she needed the car taxed to take me to my appointment. He was supposed to fone 20 mins later with details to tax car, never bothered. It cost my partner £70 in a taxi the next morning, and still no details had come back. I got the car on monday and didn't recieve the logbook until the friday. I would love for my partner to be able to claim the money back! And as for 2 keys, we only got 1 key also. Apparently they'll send key no.2 when the car's in my partners name? When it says your car comes with 2 keys, you should be handed 2 keys! They're lucky because we were going to go to the police. If they had come and took our car, there was nothing we could do as they still had the logbook and 'spare key'. I would recommend people to steer clear of this company! I wish we had went somewhere else!!!!!!

Bought a lovely little micra with low miles and everything was sorted for me at the garage even down to the tax rebate from my old car. Just received the cheque for that from the dvla. The dad and son were really nice. Thank you guys for a pleasant experience .

Buying from oxman for a good 10 years, really nice people, typical salesmen but really nice....  I've bought two cars myself and recommended loads of others... Never had any problems at all. Will most likely be buying my next car from them..

Lovely man until the car develops a fault....promises warranties that are not worth the paper they're not written on. Endless trips backwards and forwards to his 'mechanic' and then when he cant fix it, he pretends the car is out of warranty. DO NOT GO TO THIS GARAGE...

Absolutely avoid !! This company is unethical wait till they have your money then screw you over, let me drive about  with my 3 children in the back of a car that was unsafe and unfit to drive. After taking the car back 3 times and getting diagnostics from 2 other reputable garages tried to say it was my fault, slammed the phone down on me and spoke to me like I was an idiot! Disgusting customer service, DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE!!!!
