I attended for a service and MOT of my car and as I live in North Durham decided just to stay and do a little work while I waited. I manage Holiday Lodges and my whole ethos is around customer service and creating a positive first impression and today I observed that in your branch. Jeff, as always is a great ambassador for your company. He is very polite and has a very calm manner about him. I said to him I was going to do some work and he offered me a desk to use, which was unnecessary, but great customer service! I decided to use the Mazda area customer desks instead so I was out of the way. From this position, and later in the day, sitting in the Kia section I observed your staff to be very polite to all that came in, whether that be potential customers or delivery drivers. Everyone was treated with courtesy and respect. On completion of my service, Jeff fully explained everything to me and the whole process was first class. Only one area I would criticise would be the video of the car inspection sent to me was good, but the audio was poor. Such a shame. My car was left clean and spotless after the service too! The right people, in the right jobs doing the right thing!
Great service here following an unexpected issue with my Mazda MX-5. Quick and efficient but best of all great communication from the service team. Will be my garage if choice from now on for my services.
I collected my Kia Picanto from SG Petch in Sunderland today and I have to say the whole process was by far the easiest and uncomplicated I have ever encountered. Barry was welcoming, knowledgeable and professional throughout. Based on my experience with SG Petch in Sunderland, I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking a hassle-free car purchase.
i bought a second hand car volvo v40 from here a few weeks ago. it can be quite a daunting process when looking for a new car but the salesman nicky was a pleasure to deal with, very amiable and friendly but also professional. i wouldn't hesitate in coming back in the future or recommending this dealer to others.

I been Kia in Sunderland they are not straightforwar I been Kia in Sunderland replace a headlight, because was not working, complete all, Headlight but when they check it, they just lying, they told me. I already spoke to Kia. They reject to replace under warranty, but when I call Kia, they didn’t have any information about this car
Absolutely outstanding!!! Broken down on the A19 as the Kia we collected from our elderly uncle had lost its radiator cap and the car was overheating. Neil went over and above, personally drove out to us with a radiator cap and bottle of coolant so we could continue our journey late on a Saturday afternoon. Cannot thank you enough!!!

We didn’t think we’d be leaving a 5-Star review after what initially looked like a disaster of a used-car-buying experience. My wife and I had committed to travelling to Sunderland from London after some excellent communication and a promptly shot video viewing of a Mini Countryman SE, which had the options and low mileage we were looking for. Sadly after a 4 hour journey and parting with a 5-figure sum, within 5 minutes of driving off the forecourt the car flashed up with an engine light reporting a drivetrain fault, before switching to limp mode. We turned around and made it back to the dealership with 5 minutes to spare before their Saturday closing time. Expecting the worst we feared since the money was paid and an independent warranty was provided, we may have been sent off to fend for ourselves on a risky 5 hour drive back to London. What we experienced however was an immediate acceptance of responsibility, that what had happened shouldn’t have, and the whole weekend team stayed until 6:30pm to bring the car back in and send us off home in the best demo car they had available. They then checked the car before delivering it to London five days later with a thoughtful bouquet on the passenger seat and a written reassurance they’d cover any further issue that doesn’t end up being covered by the warranty. Touch wood the engine light hasn’t come back on after several hundred miles and we love the car we’ve bought. Congratulations to Roy and the team at SG Petch for how well they empathised with their customer and handled such an adverse situation.
This has got to be the best car showroom experience I’ve ever had. No hard sell, no bombardment of technical jargon…just helpful, friendly staff. We were served by Neil and Michael who were incredibly helpful and personable. We didn’t end up going with Kia in the end as we’ve decided not to change cars for the time being, but when we do need a new car we’ll definitely be going back to Kia.
