I always use this post office and have done since it became one.im in every day and have had no problems with the staff. I find them polite and chatty. We are very lucky to have a postoffice which is open 7 days a week. It's in an ideal position for elderly people to access,those of us who don't have cars and people who like me find it far enough to walk. office and have done ever since it began to be a postoffice. Owner is rude & aggressive. I have stopped going & now go to the Post Office in Colinton Mains which is run by really nice people. I am elderly and would like to be able to use the local Post Office but it is just not worth the hostile manner in which the owner treats you other staff were always nice in the past. This man should be removed, folk should be able to use their local Post Office without being worried about how they will be treated.
Have been using this post office for some time and found the staff to be fine. Today, Saturday I handed a package in and was served by the owner. He told me it wouldn't go away until Monday and I said, I don't mind. He replied, I don't care if you don't mind! What an ignorant rude guy he is! Last time I'll be going there.
I had a bad experience there a few months ago. There is a rude member of staff there, not sure if it is the owner other reviews refer to, but he certainly does not provide good customer service. He did not want to sell me a stamp, even though we were still within the post office opening hours, claiming the post office was already shut,when it clearly shouldn't have been according to the noticed displayed. I made a complaint about this to the Post Office. The Post Office is a publicly funded service that clearly deserves better.
Usually the service is really good in this post office, but the new guy today literally chucked my packages on the floor damaging the boxes - what is this all about?! Please train you staff, they don’t own the packages, but they are entrusted by the customer and post office to look after the package!
Went in recently to post some letters, the staff were just very rude, did not paying attention to what I said, and didn't provide the information I need regarding to postage. I don't think they really care about customers. I have used this post office a few times, it is the same rubbish experience everytime. I have stopped using this post office now.
Unfortunately, the man who runs this place is condescending, rude, unhelpful and obstructive. Whatever caused the chip on his shoulder, it achieves nothing. More than one person has warned me about him "don't listen to him". I've asked in local shops and been told they hear complaints about him all the time. It is to be hoped that he doesn't do well in a customer service business when he provides such unpleasant customer service. I won't return while he is there. I've been served by at least four other staff members who have been very pleasant. I can only imagine how awful a boss he might be. He'll not receive any more of my money.
Owner is extremely rude, speaks to you like your dirt. I believe he got removed from Liberton Post Office because of similar behaviour.
I've always found them very helpful here, and they seem to be open longer hours than most post offices.
Very handy opening hours & helpful service.
