What can I say that hasn't already been said. Amazing service, amazing food. Lovely intimate atmosphere where nothing you ask is too much. We have ingredients for a cocktail, and it was made, that is something else. I recommend the venison with a bottle of carmenere.

Superb a wee gem that Peebles is lucky to have! Have no idea who would give this anything but 5* the guy who gave it 1* needs ice on his head :) Have eaten there dozens of times over the last twelve years and never been disappointed and I eat a lot all over the world. My guests always love it. Always a delight to return to Ally 's kitchen. Inventive, interesting and great value. You would pay much more for this quality in Edinburgh. Friendly staff and good size portions.

Great inventive food in an unpretentious atmosphere with friendly service Not cheap, but great value given the thought and care that has gone into the food.
