A lot of really nice and somewhat unique dishes for a Chinese take-away. I order here a lot and I am rarely let down by what I have. We always order using the website for collection because it comes out cheaper, is better for the business, and we often receive a call from them to let us know it'll be ready in 15 minutes. Only negative is that the website design is often confusing and unintuitive. Vegetarian options: Appears to me multiple well prepared vegetarian options for quite a good selection of the dishes
Absolutely disgusting. Ordered a chicken curry and got a tub of slops! If you want a decent curry, do yourself a favour and stay well clear of this crowd, vomit food!!!!
By far best Chinese in the area. The lady behide desk is always so kind and friendly and gives amazing customer service every time. She even knew my order for pick up just with me walking in the door. All round great food and great service wouldn't order from anywhere else don't understand other reviews never had problem in the 2/3 years I been ordering try before you judge you won't regret it.
Worst experience in 20 years! Food came 2.5 hours after order. I had phoned up several times only to have the call declined or ignored. Eventually after I’d already broken out and eaten the frozen pizza, it arrived. Past 11.30pm The entire order had been microwaved in the bag it was delivered in and the polystyrene boxes had melted onto the food; leaving it all tasting like plastic and it was binned. Another of the boxes had burst open and the sauce spilled out. Delivering microwaved junk so long after the order had been placed is a waste of time, doesn’t matter how busy you are. Don’t waste your money here My previous review: 5/5 Orients food and delivery time is always top notch, even with the ongoing virus causing their orders to increase, I would imagine. Not a bad experience with the place.
Just started ordering from Orient in Livingston and what an absolutely fantastic service they provide with a prompt and friendly delivery service and brilliant food at reasonable prices five stars from me guys well done
Guy taking the orderers, made phone call priority even though we have been inside and waiting. Then he forgot put my order in. So unprofessional and disappointed.
Just once I had a bad experience on deliveries - perhaps they were too busy as it took over 3 hours. I use Orient every week and the food is great. On occasions if you ask for any special requests it can be forgotten about eg no onions….but all in all I’ve had great experience over the last 2 years
For the past couple of years or so, Orient has been our "go to" for Chinese food. A few weeks ago, we ordered sweet n sour chicken, the sauce was spicy. Thought it was my daughter being fussy, but it had some heat in it! Thought it was a mistake, but we'd waited ages for it so I gave her some of my dinner. Ordered sweet n sour for myself tonight and again, it's got a proper kick to it. It's never been like that in the past and with fussy kids who previously loved this dish! we're going to have to rethink where we order from. Food just hasn't been the same, don't know if it's a new chef or different ingredients, but it's really put me off now
Well what can we say ? Best food ever . My daughter recommended here and so very glad she did . My fiancé and myself have had various different meals from here and every single one has been really delicious, delivery been great , food lovely and hot and they cook to perfection. Will be getting lots of meals from here . One final thing to add - their telephone manner is great too . Lovely staff lovely food go on try it you will not regret it . 100% recommended:
