Excellent place to stay! Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Rooms had both a shower and a bath separate! with great water pressure. Service was exquisite. The bistro downstairs served good food and happily accommodated our large group each time ate there. Breakfast offered a variety of options and beautiful views through their large windows. Location is close enough to Ballincollig shops and eateries to walk in just a few minutes or take a short drive into Cork. I highly recommend staying here!
Really lovely hotel lovely to have a pool and sauna too! Location was great the bar was great and the staff were friendly the poor score was only because of a bit of a poor decision to move all the tables from the wedding at 3am in the morning it went on for an hour and really wasn't very fair having large tables dragged around, it went on for 45 mins and just felt a bit unconsidered. I was going to say something when we left but the wedding party were there and didn't want to make it awkward. In future please consider guests sleeping above/next to the function room.
Recent stay mid week, family room 2 adults and 2 children. The service from all staff was excellent. The dinner was super. Kids loved the pool. We will definitely be back again. Special thanks to Janice the manager. Suzanne McGraynorRooms: 5/5
Nice room but with dusty kettle and dirty carpet and no slippers and in-room complimentary amenities. Breakfast is cheap quality foods especially sausage and coffee. Me and my husband got glittering bite from salad so I guess they didn’t wash them Nearby activities: Grocery shop nearby
This hotel is very nice. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. There’s a pool and a gym as well as a carpark. The rooms are very nice and clean. The restaurant served delicious food and tea service was delightful!Rooms: 5/5
The staff from front desk to restaurant and bar were exceptional...except the bar manager who thought it was OK to completely ignore a request that I made. We spoke to a girl called Gaby who went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. We also spoke to a manager called Jerry and he was also very polite and helpful. Its such a pity that 1 person could undo the good work from the rest of the staff. Breakfast was excellent one of the nicest I've had in any hotel for awhile. The room was lovely and comfortable
Husband was on a business trip and I joined him for an overnight stay and a dinner in the bar/bistro where we were joined by some of the family, who live nearby, for an Anniversary celebration treat. Beds are very comfy, bedrooms spacious with good facilities including free water and tea/coffee making and are not stuffy, bathrooms also not pokey. Staff helpful and friendly. Food beautifully presented. Nice place to feel relaxed and pampered for special occasions.
We had such a relaxing time. Everyone working in Oriel house is lovely. The Monday Aqua aerobics instructor was fantastic. The guy in the gym was so helpful Brian? The waitresses were efficient and accommodating of gf foods. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The location is perfect for Wilton, town, Blarney. Well worth the price! Noteworthy details: The staff are incredibly nice!
Great hotel with fantastic staff. We had a large traveling group 15+ and still had excellent accommodation. This is preferred hotel for Cork for now on.Rooms: 5/5
Beautiful hotel, staff were super friendly and welcoming and called a taxi for us! Room was immaculate, can’t fault what so ever. Pricing was really good value, I would have expected it to have cost more if anything.
