Spoke to a new receptionist this morning called Cathy. What an friendly efficient person she is. Cathy is an asset to the practice. Orchard medical centre is a friendly helpful surgery. I have never visited the practice and not been looked after properly and treated with respect. Alough Cathy did go the extra mile. Both practice nurses are also superb, could not be nicer. Thankyou for all your hard work.
I just called and must be a new male receptionist and he was an absolute angel really helpful and understanding. I wish I got his name what a lovely man and a credit to your team he was working on the 7th of Nov 2022 at 2:00 if that helps.
Doctors and nurses are excellent, but the administration and time taken to answer calls and deal with sick patients and relatives is diabolical! Has been like this for years, even before COVid! Needs to be addressed, minimum 20mins telephone wait for calls to be answered is simply NOT a service, but exasperates patients anxiety even further at a time they need nurture and calmness when phoning for help! Orchard medical admin—-please please address this issue!!!!
The receptionist staff at this doctors are a joke. Three times I had to call them, each time waiting for over fifteen minutes on hold and they answer and slam the phone the down to cut you off. Third time they actually talk to me and I ask to get an appointment but I have to ring back at half one because triage isn't in, so they can't even help me anyway? New to the practice and I am shocked at this staff, never experienced anything like it for a medical practice.
People who work on reception need to have the right personality for customer service especially in the context of providing a health service. I regret to say this is not the case in this instance based in my recent experience The service provided is not acceptable and I first used them in 1982 and long before they moved to the present location. Dr Mishra, and prior to that her father, has always been helpful but before even getting to speak to her the obstacle course that is reception has to be overcome. Added 5 months later. The reception staff were polite when I had cause to contact them recently and not unwelcoming.
over an hour waiting for my call to be answered doc call back arranged prescription to be sent to pharmacy b4 11 after 4 still no prescription called up another 45 trying to get through not ready told i could go up and pick up only to be told once there that they cant find it RECEPTIONIST MOST RUDE PERSON EVER!!!!!! another 20 mins wait 4 prescription ORCHARD......YOUR A JOKE
Sent precription to the wrong chemist and subsequently I had no meds for several days. Toilet hand dryer blows cold air - reported it months ago but still no action taken. No paper towels as back up. Receptionist seemed disinterested when mentioned to her. No wonder this practice is one of the lowest in a recent Scottish survey of customer satisfaction - with a practice in Bellshill getting the lowest score. North Lanarkshire health services are poor.
Disgusting people's on reception no respect to patients. I waiting 3 month on my medical reports, they laying me as no body contact with GP about this.... joke !!!! Rabish Clinic
Worst surgery ever including the staff attitude. Neither the staff nor the doctors coordinate, so basically no one knew anything. Very very rude staff.
Absolutely terrible. I've been registered with this doctor for around 40 years, but I cannot possibly recommend the practice. The current approach - where there is a 2 hour window per day to speak to staff about anything other than an appointment that day - is far from the person-centred approach the NHS endorses. I would also second the comment about the reception staff - possibly the rudest people I've ever had the misfortune to engage with, particularly when they may be dealing with patients who are experiencing difficulties.
