Could not fault. Had an OOH appointment for my son late in the evening. Was in and out within 45 minutes. Brilliant and helpful staff and services. Thank you
Receptionist was professional enough but appointment given was for 11 p.m. at night and we don't have a car meaning we have to rely on unreliable buses. After I realised that we wouldn't be able to make it, I tried to phone back to cancel the appointment only to get a message saying the health centre was closed and to phone back tomorrow. I wonder how many appointments are being wasted because people like me don't have a car and can't get to them and then when you try to phone to cancel there's no way of getting through? What a waste of NHS resources and off me sitting around waiting for 6 hours to get a phone call instead of doing my work.
Attended with my son to out of hours service, was dealt with quickly. Staff very pleasant and he was thoroughly examined. Great NHS service.
I had an emergency appointment on Saturday 15th January due to having a sever ear infection. I seen two nurses who were extremely helpful; they listened intently, did a thorough examination and sent me to an ENT specialist. I wish I could thank them personally but I was in so much discomfort that I missed both of their names - I am finally on the road to discovering why I am getting reoccurring ear infections. Thank you both very much!!
Staff on out of hours expect everyone to drive or be able to teleport gave my partner appointment for 15min they expect us to get bus at night from motherwell to Hamilton and make it in 15 min busses at night every 30 min and to make things worse to chang appointment have to go through nhs 24 which can take a further 20-30 min then they moan cause too last to give you a number to change appointment god forbid answering a phone takes up their gabbing time then get to appointment to be told nothing wrong so why was my partner filling bucket after bucket of vomit better going to a bloody vet
Had to go out of hours when my daughter took an asthma attack, it took 25 minutes on the phone, and I was really anxious when I got to out of hours, a nurse came and checked the oxygen level and my daughter was taken through to the medical room within a minute of getting there. The doctor wrote a letter to the GP and they finally changed my daughter's medicine that she'd been asking for about 2 years. Thank you.
I can’t thank the staff enough here I visited on Sunday 3rd of October and the service was first class and prompt the doctor who treated me got my diagnosis spot on after visiting Wishaw general 3 times that week 5 hours first time 7 hours second visit and 9 hours by ambulance third visit I finally got a diagnosis by the doctor at Hamilton out of hours thankyou so much for your professional and the nurses emphathy
Husband was there for physio. Have to buzz to get in, plenty of socially distanced seating. Got taken on time by Andrew. I went to the retail shops m
They advised the person I was with to go straight away to Wishaw hospital
I was transferred from my Gp surgery in wellhall to here. It is excellent. Nurse Nascera Adam's was absolutely fantastic. The girl at reception was very nice and sincere.
