receptionists are very rude and never pass on notes my sister has been told many times she will get a phone back and never gets one. only a few doctors who are respectable and helpful and it’s IMPOSSIBLE to get an appointment on hold for 2 hours then say first in the queue then u get cut off phone back and your back to 7th place.
I have always found the staff and doctors to be brilliant. One doctor understood my health condition where others hadn't in different practices. Yes things have changed but I know they are doing their best to cope with these changes. Individuals should understand that when talking to staff. Thank you doctor Kochar, I think it was Gillian who took my call as well and staff member who answered the door on my last visit. Extremely professional and understanding.
The receptionist are polite and professional, always happy to help even under the pressure of today's difficulties. Doctors always helpful and happy to discuss issues. I am not a patient but ring on behalf of there patient as I have POA. Thanks
I will give a very honest and open minded opinion. When I first moved to new Stevenson 12 years ago, I was not sure at all that I was going to be able to adapt as I was used to my practice in uddingston from birth. However I had back issues and had to attend this gp, and was a while trusting and being reassured that I would be able to get the help I needed. 1 gp training was rude a good few years back regarding if i was to get weight off i would not be returning for pain relief. I then thought that I would have to find another surgery due to the feeling of a dr being so rude, when unaware of my injuries or background. Dr did apologise at follow up appointment. But I stayed put, and I am so glad that I have especially since having my son in 2015, I have been listened to, both dr have attended the room and no risks have ever been taken with both children. My son was diagnosed with an airway disorder and my GP, who admitted that they were aware of the condition but not fully understood. This surgery has been very much appreciated by myself, and always has took my opinion on and if I have a point they have exhausted all avenues of my sons condition. And in the last year, I would say that receptionist, nurses, gps training or just trained along with dr Ross the care, attention and patient centred dedication has been thee most amazing surgery for me. I am well aware that no gp surgery is perfect and we say that trying to get appointments etc is long, but I am 100% sure that they are as fustrated as patients can be, as they are human, they have families to go home to, they try to accommodate. They are not to blame for people missing appointments, patients are causing problems with this not the surgery. I 110% have a great trust and faith in this surgery.
Rude reception staff. I was actually accused of saying something I didn’t say by a receptionist, much to the shock and disgust of another patient who was standing next to me and heard the whole conversation. Take a witness if you’re going there. Personally I am done. Nice doctors but let down by certain staff members.
I would give the Practice 100 stars if I could, Dr Duncan has supported me and my family with various health concerns and really helped me especially with anxiety and stopping smoking. Cannot fault the Practice at all.
Nightmare. Impossible to get an appointment. There systems are always crashing. Nobody knows how to use pen and paper. Pharmacist at the Surgery is always trying to cut down my meds / take me off them to save money. Nightmare.
They just don't care receptionists are rude it's a form of control left with problems with hands to just get on with it think all GPS are same then they wander why people loss trust in GPS they take on to many patients your just a number gone are GPS who actually cared treated you with respect
I waited an hour to make an appointment for a consultation and after an hour I closed my call. I call them back and the phone is off.
Phoned for an appointment and was told we are fully booked. It's a doctor's not a hotel.
