I have purchased at least 6 different frames and lenses from Optical Express, Merry Hill over the past 4 years during which time and before her well-deserved promotion, Susie was my point of contact. Susie delivered first class service levels and is a fantastic ambassador for your brand. The unenviable task of managing a demanding and fastidious customer had now been passed to Lorna who is proving to be equally as efficient. Lorna patiently set time aside to discuss and explore all the different options available to me and I am very pleased to report that my latest pair of glasses is exactly as promised.

I experienced excellent customer service from a recent visit to Optical Express in Merry Hill. All staff were polite and dedicating in answering any questions I had and would also like to send special thanks to Jill and Lorna, who I believe went out their way to clarify on the more specific questions I had as well as providing useful advice when selecting glasses for my daughter. I have rarely experienced such customer service and highly recommend this outlet for the staff alone. Well done and thanks to all who work there!

For me as someone with a severe visual impairment, it is essential to know and go to an optician, where people have a vast experience of encountering different eye problems and for being patient as well as helpful when advising customers about new specs and other services. I have been a customer with Optical Express’ Glasgow store before my move down to the Midlands and have always been extremely happy and satisfied with their services. So it was very valuable to find an Optical Express store not too far away from where I live now in the Midlands. And to my surprise, I found – when I went to get booked in for an eye test earlier last week – that my name and old Scotland details were still on record, even here in the Midlands! I just had to get my address details and email address updated before I got booked in for an eye test appointment for just a few days later (I had not had an eye test for five years, tut tut). The service I received on Saturday was fantastic! Rachael, the Assistant who looked after me and my needs, warmly welcomed me and helped me to complete the medical questionnaire, checked the prescription of my current glasses and did some initial tests before I got to see Emma, the Optician. Emma was very supportive and helpful as well when undertaking the eye examination and asking some questions about how I got on in my daily life having my eye issues. After the eye examination, Rachael was extremely helpful and supportive again when it came to choosing my new spectacles, which also included giving me different options for lenses and calculating precise quotes. I even ordered two pairs (at a lower price than last time even) and was advised when paying how long it was estimated for the ordered specs to arrive. All in all, I wholeheartedly recommend Optical Express Merry Hill for eye tests and choosing specs. They offer other services as well but I can only comment on the aforementioned ones and I am a very happy customer. Thank you, Rachael and Emma, for your outstanding service!!

Amelia Gordon helped out with my situation very well today, was informative and understanding for what i wanted for my glasses chosen & was extremely helpful and supportive throughout the different procedures we went through. All in all i recommend this place for all manners concerning eyesight, all the staff are friendly & Thank you Amelia for all your help!

Visited the store today to find my son some glasses that he liked after searching every other opticians in the centre. Optical express had the best range by far and a much wider range of free pairs too. Amelia Gordon was very helpful and guided us to pairs that suited him and fit him well. She also took time out to explain to me different parts of the prescription in detail to help me understand. Brilliant customer service. Very happy. Thank you.
