Everytime I call them they say to come back the next day or they have me sitting here for hours when it's for my kids just letting the phone ring! Then there's times I'll be going in and they will say that there is nothing wrong or they can't do anything and to come back in a week if symptoms don't calm down. Absolute waste of time.
The worst GP in the world! My son is 6 and seriously not well, they never answer the phone and it’s impossible to get through this had happened several times I don’t think he has ever been able to get an appointment there in 3 years of living in the area! I’ve never experienced such bad service in my whole life. Disgusting
Decided today to finally try and leave this doctors surgery. Terrible place to even get seen! If you’re feeling ill they make matters even worse.
I have recently joined this surgery. I have found the staff to be so helpful. Sorted my meds very quickly. I changed from a doctors that was totally rubbish. The ladies here are so lovely. If I could give more than 5 I would. Keep up the fantastic work. But remember you will never please everyone.
Phoned my own doctors and because it was so late they booked me an appointment for here at 9:15pm. We'll, I got seen almost straight away but the doctor was very rude. My son has been throwing up feeds since he was born. Initially we assumed it was because of the tongue tie. He is 4 months and still continues to vomit during and after every feed. I thought maybe he had a cows milk Allergy. The doctor said I'm feeding him too much. He is on 7onz every 3-6 hours. The health visitor told me, if he's hungry, up the onzes not put him on hungry baby. Well, the end result was the doctor rolling his eyes at everything I said making me feel like I've not had kids before he is my 3rd and made me feel really small and insignificant. The doctor has put him on baby gaviscon...... let's see if it helps.
Had a very poorly 2 year old son high temp shaking, being sick, rang for appointment was told they didn't have any. Got told to ring 111 rang 111 got told with his symptoms he needs to be seen within 2 hours and to call doctors for emergency appointment. I rang again, got told doctor would call me at 4, I originally rang them in around 10am ish so it was already too long to wait. Doctor rang me at 6.15 pm to say the receptionist never told him about the appointment, he told me to take my son to Russells Hall hospital A&E we get there the cue time is 6 hours. My son is getting worse, we spend 2 hours waiting until he is seen. He had a temperature over 40 and was very ill, turns out he had tonsillitis that could have been delt with by a doctor. So from calling for a appointment around 10am my son didn't get medical treatment until 9pm. If he had sepsis or meningitis he wouldn't be here now this needs to change before someone dies.
Always very helpful and listen to you when you call the surgery. I think it will be a lot better when we can just phone up for a appointment without having to have a telephone conversation first.
Left this disgrace of a surgery thank god! And switched to one further away from our home but at least they see a 20month old baby when I ask them!! Had an ambulance out for my daughter who phoned this useless surgery on our behalf asking the Gp to see her on the same day. They actually refused which is against NHS procedure as she was a child and told the paramedics we should go and walk into the hospital. Yeah great so let's put my whole family at risk going to a covid/illness infected a&e! I would strongly avoid anyone from signing with this place. They still employ that Dr Hungwe - who suffers with a chip on the shoulder / very bad attitude. Best thing me and my family did leaving this surgery.
Had appointment this morning. Twenty minutes after appointment time they say sorry doc isn't feeling well so your appointment has to be cancelled. Asked if another doctor could be seen they said no. Unfortunately for them I'm not deaf and overheard them saying that another doctor won't see his patients unless this doctor sees that doctors home visits. Soo much for putting patients medical situations first. So instead spent hours up the walk in centre where it was explained that if left untreated it could be rather nasty. Thanks alot high oak surgery for nothing. Happy New year to you
Good doctors, relatively easy to get an appointment compared to the likes of moss grove. Friendly doctors. Easy to book a convenient appointment on the app. Would give 5 stars but the facilities are a little limited and struggle to get through on the phone if you need an emergency appointment.
