Amazing experience!! Watched Mamma Mia on Saturday 6th August. Yes there was no catering due to covid absolutely no one’s fault but the company did their best to provide hot drinks and snacks for all attending. We took our own snacks so weren’t really bothered that there was no catering as we’d eaten prior to arriving. The film was great and just an overall fab experience at a great cost! Would recommend and will definitely watch another film again in future years! Me, my husband and my mom thoroughly enjoyed it
I cant believe we have never been before. This was a great experience. And to have hot food and drink available topped it off. We took 5 children and because there was lots of space it was ideal unlike sitting in a cramped over heated cinema with people breathing down your neck and shushing you. Yes it was cold but what do you expect for the end of October, like the website says wrap up and take your blankets! There is nothing more cozy and special.
Having never attended an event before, we weren't sure what to expect, but communication was excellent prior to the event. The email to advise the catering would be minimal due to the caterer contracting covid meant we were able to pack our own picnic in time. Every effort to provide food/drink was made, and a small shop was set up as a last minute alternative, which was a plus given that from the email, it wasn't expected. The staff were friendly and welcoming on arrival and the atmosphere was relaxed. The kids were able to move around and there was plenty of space. A great event, that we enjoyed. An umbrella is a must to provide yourself some shade in good weather.
Fantastic evening, great family fun, plenty of emails received before hand regarding the last minute changes to the catering, nothing a trip to the local shop before hand couldn't sort out, hot and cold drinks and snacks were available. The staff we met were friendly, welcoming and informative. The toilets were kept clean and tidy a miracle at an outdoor event I'm sure. A wonderful family evening lots of singing and dancing and an all round safe and friendly atmosphere. A very easy 5 star review
Wasn’t sure what to expect but it was so fun and a great atmosphere. Lots of people turned up with their own chairs, blankets, lanterns and food. We received an email before the event informing us that their caterers had let them down but when we got there we could see they had tried their best to provide snacks to buy near the entrance. Everyone was dancing by the end of the night. A fantastic experience.
An absolutely amazing experience all round! The staff were super friendly and accommodating and we had the best night! We were told upon arrival, and prior to the event in an email, that the organisers had been let down at the last minute by their catering staff. This absolutely did not spoil our experience and the staff went above and beyond to try to make up for circumstances that were out of their control! We will 100% be returning in the future and would fully recommend! Thank you for a fantastic evening!
We had the most amazing time at the Outdoor Cinema watching Mamma Mia. The organisation was amazing from start to finish and all the staff were very welcoming and friendly and it really seemed like they genuinely wanted us to have the best time! The caterers let them down at the last minute but nevertheless they put on their own selection of refreshments to buy which was lovely for a nice warm evening! The event wasn’t overcrowded but had a lovely atmosphere. I really would recommend!
What a fabulous evening, couldn't have been more fun or better run, staff were brilliant, location and set up was very well done. Very impressed with lay out and how much space everyone had and still all in good spots for the screen. We took a big picnic, as did many people and others ordered in takeaways, there was a good value little store with lots and lots of drinks, sweets and snacks to choose from. My friends and I would 100% go again, so nice to see this sort of thing up here and locally put on, often its only down south we get these things going on.
We had a great time watching Bohemian Rhapsody. The guys at the gate were really polite, genuinely nice and very helpful. The facilities were brilliant, we took our own drinks and food as I didn't expect there to be any food, but there was actually some snacks and drinks to buy if I'd have needed to. I did neer to use the loo's, several times - thank goodness they were so clean and there was so many of them, this was a real plus. The whole experience from booking to the actual visit on the day was so easy. Will definitely use again.
We had a lovely time at the outdoor cinema watching The prisoner of Azkaban. The staff were very kind and accommodating. It didn't bother us that there wasn't any catering as we'd brought along a picnic like most people had.The stall they had sold cold drinks, snacks and some HP merchandise which my girls appreciated. There is plenty of time before the movie starts to nip out to get food . Just bring lots of sunscreen, hats, shades etc as the sun can be relentless on a hot summers day. Would definitely go again.
