Visited again on Eid and as always this place was amazing. Although it was really busy but we were taken care of and food came out quickly tasting delicious of course. Vibes were great, felt like Eid just by being there. Waiters were really nice although a few were fasting bless them but they managed to make our dayFood: 5/5
First time we ate at Oodles this weekend and we left impressed. Noodles we ate had a lot of flavour and packed really good spice. Dumplings were our son's favourite and the tiger prawns tasted well made. Will be back. We weren't to keen on the tempura prawns as the batter seemed quite thick and tasted unusual. But keen to try more dishes.
Been here many a times... On this occasion ordered a Ribeye steak, chicken burger and a full chicken platter Chicken burger and full chicken was alright tastewise. I asked for my ribeye steak to be cooked medium. When it arrived it seemed alright until I started eating it, it had good flavour to it but tasted abit burnt, so I turned over the steak and it was overly charred and burnt around the side. Did mention it to one of the managers but he just seemed to shrug it off by saying that's how they are cooked on the grill. Trust me I have had many a steak at different places and this is the first time I've had one like this. It's a shame because it did have decent taste and flavour to it. Lastly it would be nice if one of the managers would treat all his staff equally. As we witnessed, he had his arms around 2 of the female employees for a few seconds and then using foul language against a meal employee. Like I always say everyones taste buds differ and everyones opinions are different but this is my honest opinion. Lastly the portion sizes have drastically decreased and the prices have gone up. The size of the sides is ridiculously small. About ten chunky chips or a couple of table spoons of mash if that. Food and quality is not as before.
I recently dined at Oodles n Oodles in Birmingham and had a fantastic experience. Puja, our server, provided excellent service. The food was truly amazing, and the overall experience deserves a five-star rating. I highly recommend this place for both its delicious dishes and top-notch service.Food: 4/5
My steak was brilliant, I mentioned we were still waiting for the mash and the waiter pointed to the tiny dish on my plate. When I realised that was the mash I was shocked, Literally a scoop of mash it was crazy. Luckily we also had some chips else I would have been starving still. Communication with our main waiter was hard too and no asked if we want salt/pepper or the bill.
I’ve been to this place a few times over the years. It’s hands down my favourite restaurant at Star City. The chicken steak is the best I’ve ever had. They also do Moven ice cream in many flavours. My last experience was a Deliveroo delivery, the delivery menu unfortunately does not feature the full range of food they offer. Below is pictured the grilled chicken shashlik which comes with rice. It was lovely although the peppers were hard. Overall, you can’t really go wrong with this place.
The Server Raheel was the worst one I ever met, he was so rude and condescending and was very cheeky. I’m never rude to people that serve me food all I said was brother I don’t like the mojito, the attitude I got in return and he said I already asked you if everything was okay. He asked me while eating my noodles. Everyone else was lovely he has a serious problem.
Food was brilliant, from the starters, to steaks and noodles. Maya the waitress was really helpful throughout the meal and Basit was more than accommodating when me and a family of 20 walked in 30minutes before closing. First time trying and will be coming back
NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY I went back to Oodles after many many years. Now married with a 7 month old child. Drove from Leicester. We arrived at approximately 4:20pm and asked for table for 2. I could see many empty tables, however we were told to wait. Whilst waiting two seperate group of girls came in, who were given tables instantly. We were then taken to our table and told, IF you want to keep the pushchair with you, then you HAVE TO sit on a bench table - this is not suitable when you have a 7 month old, you need a proper chair with a back you can lean on. Alternatively, they said you can have a normal table with chairs IF you leave the pushchair somwhere else to the side - however they did not consider that we may need the pushchair if the baby falls asleep. —- they did not consider their customers needs, it was either there way or nothing. Natually the baby got tired, wanted to sleep, did not have anywhere to sleep and started shouting. TWO waiters came over like we were causing a nuisance, and asked “is everything okay” whilst we’re two young parents trying to soothe a crying baby. The food was average. The egg in the eggfried rice was stale like it had been fried days in advance. And the crispy beef, was ALL batter and no beef. 90% of pieces you could break apart and not see any beef inside. SERVICE: Most waiter looked to avoid doing any work, they only seemed to act when tables needed clearing. I had to request to order 3 times before somebody came and took our order, approx 20mins, and not even ordered drinks or served drinks. When we finished our meal, i asked for the bill, again i had to almost 20mins and ask 3 seperate waiters before i got my bill. Shambles. Last time i go there
Maybe was an amazing server and was the only server I appreciated. Every other server did absolutely nothing, ignored people and took forever. The food was good however you need to add salt because there is none. The resturant is beautiful Asian theme and the only issue may be the sofas are starting to wear. Overall, 3 stars for the food and waitress Maya. The chicken shishlak was ana amazing taste of grilled chicken and smell. Dietary restrictions: Maybe asked me if we have any allergies? ask me how the food is? and also helped a lot.
