Been here twice and I have absolutely zero complaints. So many businesses are either neutral or don’t care about quality service, and this one is definitely neither. I’m gluten sensitive and both days I visited the food was incredible. The people are very nice as well, great staffing choices. Highly recommend!Food: 5/5
A nice cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. Plenty of good breakfast and lunch choices, and fruit smoothies. The Smash brown breakfast sandwich and strawberry banana fruit smoothie were particularly good.Food: 5/5
This is a cute little place kinda hidden. The first time we came I noticed how heavy the door was. I ordered the vegan breakfast sandwich with gluten free bread. It was so tasty I was blown away! The second time I went back it wasn't quite hot, and that turned me off. We also ordered a side of hash browns which turned out to be one of those frozen patties. My hubby ordered the lox bagel. He thought it was delicious on an everything bagel. Perfect amount of whipped cream cheese, and salmon. It's served with lemon, and capers that all go together so well. My son ordered the bacon Mac and cheese. It is homemade with a large amount of perfectly crispy bacon enough to have some with every bite. The decaf coffee was delicious the first time, it tasted a little bitter our second time around. My hubby got an Americano and said it was tasty and followed up with "I like this place". For the record, he is hard to please and usually complains more than compliments. Our neighbor ordered avocado toast with bacon. She opted out of cheese on top and put on old bay seasoning instead. She said it was delicious. The place in general is really cute. They have games for kids, and two restrooms. One is wheelchair accessible. They even have a little area outside to sit. Vegetarian options: Oat milk and almond milk for coffee, vegan cheeses, and vegan breakfast sausage that is full of flavor. Dietary restrictions: I'm gluten free dairy free and they asked if it was a gluten allergy so they could clean surfaces and change their gloves. Kid-friendliness: Games Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room for a wheelchair and wheelchair friendly bathroom.
I recently had breakfast at Joanna’s, and it was a delightful experience. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a great spot to start the day. The service was exceptional, with attentive staff who made sure everything was perfect. The food was absolutely delicious, and I was particularly impressed with the coffee—it was rich and flavorful. If you’re looking for a place with great food and a cozy vibe, Joanna’s is definitely worth a visit!
Cute coffee shop. Visiting from out of town and found this little gem. Coffee tasted great and wasn't overly priced. My husband had a breakfast sandwich and enjoyed it, even made with REAL eggs! Unfortunately, the only disappointment was the blueberry scone. Very rubbery and more of a bread style than a scone.Food: 4/5
We recently moved away from the area but in the year that we were here we frequented Joanna's Cafe. Enjoyed their good food as well as iced coffees. My wife and I enjoyed coming here and spending time. We enjoyed that we were referred to by our first names...hard to remember names in a heavily populated area and in a fast paced cafe environment. So that was a good feeling. Definitely check this place out if you are in the area. You won't be disappointed. Good food, good coffee and the staff and owner are very friendly! -Dani and Jason
My best friend and I love Joanna’s so much. We would much rather support local than the chains. We love having a coffee shop in Dundalk and I think it’s in a great location. We love the drink and food options, we have never had a disappointing meal here! This time we had a breakfast burrito that was on the specials board, vegan brownie to die for and the green mango/mint protein shake. Everything was super delicious. Thank you Joanna’s! You’re doing it right!
The place is really lovely for dinings it has some great vibes into it. The staff were really kind, flexible and patient in and didn’t take long in preparing my food. The food was flavorful and delicious, the ingredients were fresh and tasty. In general I loved this place and I would definitely stop by again.

Vegan Breakfast Bagel. I wish I would have taken a picture, but that’s how good it was! I got a vegan breakfast sandwich and bought a hash brown and broke it in half and put it on my sandwich and it did NOT disappoint. That was the best vegan breakfast sandwich that I’ve ever had in my life. I ordered with DoorDash so I’m uncertain about how the actual restaurant is, but judging it from that sandwich, 10’a across the board!!
