Nice and local and a very well stocked garden centre. Also good for lunch and a cup of tea. Staff could be a little more helpful at checkout and a smile now and then would not hurt.

Went here a couple of years ago and had a terrible experience...had to wait nearly an hour for food and staff were very slow and unhelpful. Now a couple of years on we were near the area and thought we'd give it another go and see if it had got any better. But in fact it was worse. We decided to sit outside as it was quite warm inside...and for a garden centre it was one of the worst patios I had ever seen. There was all weeds growing up through the concrete and one half dead palm tree in the middle...which looked like it hadn't seen water for a long time. Staff were still very slow and unhelpful...most of the tables in the patio were full of other people's used cups and plates. The tables were quite small in the patio and the staff would not take the used cups for us so we could eat our food. So we had to end up putting all on a tray on the floor. Food was still quite bland and not much flavour unless you added sauce. They stopped serving breakfast at half eleven and started lunch at twelve so there was half an hour where you couldn't order any food..as apparently they needed half hour to clean up from breakfast to lunch. So if you got there between them times (like we did) you were kind of stuck. Overall a disappointing experience and will not be returning.
